APLANET 30pcs Plastic Petri Dish with lid, 60mm, 70mm and 100mm, 10 Pieces each

I use these all the time. These are very cool for you get many sizes. Mind you I love the big ones for I do a lot of sweep netting and I do a lot of other things in nature. I am a naturalist and a budding photographer and I can say that these are great for when you are wanting to take some images of what you catch for research. You can get great macro shots with these as an aid. I use them for other things but you never can have too many of these. They will break on you but if you handle them with care the will last you a good while. Over time you will have to restock but once you get more the fun just continues.

The dishes were packed well enough that none arrived broken, however, half the packages had tears in the plastic sleeves! Obviously that's not something you want when needing things to be sterile and the tears were easily noticeable, which points to poor quality control. Other than that, I've no complaints. I like the assortment of sizes available and the price is right.

Great for "playing" but not for agars.

Bought for a craft. Wished they were a little taller

Just like described

Two times...two of thee three bags that held the petri dishes had a hold in it so the dishes were no longer sterile which defeats the whole purpose. I used them anyway and some were contaminated. It was pretty disappointing because Ii liked the idea of getting three sizes

The lids on these are very loose, every one fell open on its own as soon as I cut the sleeve open. The first time I used 7 of these it was alongside 3 I had remaining from my last batch from a different vendor and even with sterile practices and microspore tape I lost all 7 of these plates to mold while the other 3 done at the same time were fine (I marked them to make sure I knew how these worked).
