Big fan of Surreal! This is one of my favourite flavours. I pair it with a full fat greek yogurt and fruit every morning, and it keeps me feeling fuelled and full until lunch time. It tastes great, too!

Best protein cereal ever. They taste just as good as something like Frosted Shreddies, but without the insane sugar count. Magic Spoon and Fuel have nothing on Surreal.

Have you changed the recipe or manufacturer recently as I have had so many boxes of this product that my husband enjoys for breakfast and these recent boxes just don’t taste the same and he doesn’t like them ?? Can you let me know ? Thank you

This is a pack of 6 Surreal frosted cereal. Each box is 240g. It says on the packaging that a serving is 35g so you get 6 servings out of each individual box unless you eat more or less than 35g. I have been having it with milk. I think that the cereal tastes nice. It's not too sweet for me. It is nice and crunchy, which is good. It doesn't go soggy quickly either. Another good thing is that it has not got sugar in it. This is good for those who follow a sugar-free diet. It's also vegan, so good for those who are vegans. I messaged the seller with an enquiry and they replied immediately and were very helpful and friendly. This shows that you should get good customer service if you have any issues. The current price is £30.50. That makes them just over £5 per box. I've dropped a star as I think that they are a little bit too pricey. If they were a bit cheaper, I'd give it 5 stars. 😊

Really nice cereal

This high protein cereal has around 12g packed into each bowl. The way my son eats it though I assume his portion size means he’s getting substantially more! He’s very meticulous about what he eats and supplements his diet with protein. He’s in the armed forces so takes his phys very seriously and protein is good for his recovery and gains. For me, I do a more moderate amount of exercise and I love that it’s plant based, low carb and zero sugar as it fits in with my lifestyle. Taste is important and I won’t just shovel something down because it’s got the best ratios like he will, but you don’t have to worry with this cereal as it tastes fabulous!! High protein products are always a little more expensive but this one’s not too bad and not many of them out there (and I’ve tried a lot) have as good a texture, are high in fibre, low in carbs and contain ZERO sugar. Speaking of sweeteners, this cereal does contain them and has a slight aftertaste of stevia ( steviol glycosides ) which are plant derived and which I buy but I know some people might prefer other sweeteners. I like mine with Greek style yoghurt and he has his milk. If you are looking for a healthier alternative that will help with your gains but still provide good nutritional benefits I’d recommend this one. There’s a few flavours for me to try but the frosted one is brilliant and I don’t think they’ll last long! I hope you find my review helpful.

I'm the sort of person that's sceptical of vegan foods purely because I've somehow got a strange notion in my head that it would taste really strange - I'd expect it to taste like leaves. Totally irrational, but we humans are just generally illogical at times. Anyway, enough of the waffling... The boxes these come in are nicely designed, the front displaying the name and flavour of cereal as well as it's nutritional values in very large writing, with more verbose details on the sides. On the rear of the box is "a complete history of spoons" which was a pretty funny read. I for one fully support the idea of hoverspoons. The boxes have the usual tab & insert so that you can close the box up - in fact, these are already "tabbed" in and not glued down so they are easy to open. Inside the box is the plastic bag containing an ample amount of cereal - what slightly annoyed me was the bags are really tough. You cannot open them like a bag of crisps, you have to tear them instead. I always pour entire packs of cereal into large airtight plastic boxes so that they stay fresher for longer so it wasn't a problem for me. As soon as you open the bag, you are greeted with a real fresh sweet scent which I'd compare to a blend of vanilla and cinnamon. Now for the taste - absolutely delicious. A nice crunchy cinnamon with a hint of vanilla, followed by a very very subtle dried pea aftertaste (yes, you may find this sounds strange but it really does taste good). I haven't tried the other flavours, but this Frosted flavour for sure would be my favourite. As I'm writing this review, I've been dipping my hands in the box to grab a few to snack on, really really moreish. My 7yo son who is normally a very VERY fussy eater that will religiously eat only rice crispies and cornflakes with a near unhealthy amount of sugar for breakfast absolutely loves these. For something that claims to have zero grams of sugar per serving despite it being very sweet is SURREAL. Yeah I didn't laugh at that either.
