Durable roti maker
We are very happy with our StarBlue roti maker. It has served our needs perfectly. We had tried other brands before, but they did not last very long. Since purchasing the StarBlue roti maker, making rotis and other flatbreads has become much easier. It heats up quickly and consistently makes thin, evenly cooked rotis every time. The quality is excellent, and the price is very reasonable. We highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for a reliable and durable roti maker.

Could Not Make Good Rotis Despite Several Tries
I was excited to try this electric roti maker, but unfortunately it did not work as expected for me. I have made rotis for years and followed the instructions carefully, but after several attempts I was unable to get soft, round, well-cooked rotis. The rotis either remained undercooked in some areas, became too hard, or did not puff up properly. I used the product multiple times thinking it might take some practice, but the results were consistently disappointing. The concept is great and may work for some users, but in my experience it did not save time and actually required more effort than making rotis traditionally. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Excellent Customer Service
I was really impressed with the Roti Maker when I first got it. It heated evenly and was easy to use. For the time it worked, it performed exactly as expected and made the process much quicker and more convenient. Unfortunately, after some use, the unit stopped working. The company's customer service has been excellent. They responded promptly to my concerns, and said they would send a replacement.

If You Eat Roti Daily, This Is Worth It
Okay, so anyone who eats roti daily knows the real pain isn't cooking it, it's the rolling. Getting that perfectly round shape takes years of practice (my mom still judges mine). This machine basically skips that whole struggle. You just roll a small dough ball, press it down, and a few seconds later you've got a round roti. Honestly feels a bit like cheating, but the good kind. The puffing is the real test, and it does the job, soft rotis that actually fluff up, not the stiff papad-like ones you fear. The 1200W heats up fast, and the stainless steel build feels solid enough to survive a busy kitchen. That free roti warmer is genuinely useful too. You can make a full stack for the family and they stay warm and soft instead of going rubbery. Works great for theplas, khakhra, and tortillas as well. One honest catch: your dough has to be right. Too soft or too dry and the roti won't behave, that's not the machine's fault, that's just roti law. Give it 3-4 tries to get your rhythm. Bottom line: If roti is non-negotiable at your dinner table, this is well worth it. Won't fully replace mom's hand-rolled ones, but it comes surprisingly close.

Quality of roti
It’s definitely a trial and error kinda product. If the dough isn’t prepared a certain way the roti comes out broken, and if even if the dough is perfect somehow the texture of wheat roti feels like it’s made of maida, very chewy. It’s good for once in a while cooking not for daily roti eater.

Stopped heating on 3rd use
I bought this in Nov 2025. Only used 3 times. The first two times was okay to press out the tortillas, but the 3rd time on 6/20/2026, it was working okay but all of a sudden stopped heating. I unplugged it, waited an hour or so, and it still wouldn’t heat up. I’m going to contact customer service and see if they will send me a new one. Absolutely not worth the price. I’ll update this review when/if I hear back.

Good roti maker
Product is good for making chappathis. The only catch is the dough flour to water ratio. Make little bit loose dough comapred to regular dough and this roti maker will give you full puffed up rotis

Couldn't make puffed up rotis
I really really wanted it to work. I bought this because I have problems puffing up roti on induction glass cooktop. I saw tons of how-to videos about making the right kind of dough as well as what steps to follow. I was pretty confident about the stickiness of the dough. I couldn't possibly make it more runny. I followed all instructions to T, but unfortunately success rate was really low. I tried few batches and tried with different sizes of balls too. Out of 40+ rotis only 3-4 turned out to be ok. They weren't super good but pretty decent. Rest all were either too thick, or too thin or too raw or too crunchy. Lot of them formed hole while pressing and never puffed up. In short, I absolutely had no confidence as to how the roti would turn out. I had to throw away lot of rotis because they became too stiff to eat. Machine build quality is low. The hinges are bit wobbly. Even after letting it heat for 20 mins, the green led would not light up. Pressing hard is not possible because it starts making weird sound. You can't press multiple times too. So as mentioned in manual you get to press only once. Once you start making rotis, green led would never turn on. I am not sure if that was problem with the unit. I am not going to test more. It's not worth it-- unless you really are ok to eat ANY form of roti. I can't, so I sadly have to go back to manually making the rotis. It must be magic if this thing worked as advertised for anyone.

Producto muy frágil
El producto logra su función, sin embargo la palanca que hace presión es extremadamente débil. Debes poner un poco de spray en aerosol para que pueda ayudarte a hacer bien las tortillas.

Stopped heating after a month
This was purchased a little over 30 days ago. It worked fine for sometime. And now the roti maker is not heating enough. The video is 3 minutes long and the roti maker was barely heating up and the rotis were not getting done. It is a hassle to reach the manufacturer and Amazon cannot provide any help since it is older than 30 days. Shouldn’t it be Amazon’s responsibility to provide direct contact with the manufacturers or get a response from them if they are offering a product on their website. Very disappointed and it was not a cheap buy as well
