Long Term Review - Very Nice PSU
I used this power supply for a little over a year. I ordered it on May 18th, and I probably got it installed easily before the end of that month with prime delivery and all. Well, I had this power supply running an i5 7600k, 8gb ram, and a gtx 1650. It ran this system awesome for a long time in my opinion. Today marks the day it has died. My HTPC with the above specs can no longer make it into windows with this power supply as it cuts off too early to load windows all the way(I'm using an NVMe drive, mind you). At first I was thinking "oh great, there goes my $150 gpu that now costs $300 thanks to scalpers". But everything is fine. I installed my spare 750w evga supernova I had laying around and the system works just fine again. This $30 cheapo power supply lasted me, what? a year a two months? 14 months of usage for only $30. I had ordered a noctua 80mm fan to replace the one in the power supply, when I had ordered it but I wanted to wait and see if the existing fan had any issues. It didn't seem to have any issues, honestly. Making a higher quality fan would make it last a bit longer(maybe if I had installed that noctua), but then that would drive up the price of the power supply. I think it's a bit too late for the fan installation now as the power supply is whining quite a bit.You really can't beat this psu for the price at all. Even the competing power supplies cost more than it would be to get this and a noctua fan. Noctua is even nice enough to give you a 3pin to 2pin conversion adapter so you don't have to route the fan's cable out of the psu. Also wanna point out that this power supplies fan was indeed the loudest in my computer at idle. CPU is running on a watercooler with a 120mmx40mmx45mm radiator(sometimes gotta do unique stuff with small cases) with three 40mm noctua fans constantly blasting it on full speed. The GTX 1650's fans did get much louder than the power supplies fan while gaming so it wasn't really a burden. Even while streaming the volume of whatever video would drown out the fan noise. If you're looking for a good power supply to get your sff pc up and running, this is the one. Sure, at this point I might get a higher quality power supply, but it sure was worth the 14 months that this $30 one worked.

Good replacement TFX power supply for Slim desktop tower PCs; Very quiet
Just installed this today. Ordered this to replace the original 250 watt power supply in a Dell Vostro 200 Slim Tower desktop PC, which finally died after several years. Was very surprised at its weight - it's much lighter than the original. Not sure how that translates to quality or reliability. It's just slightly smaller than the original, which is a good thing. It fit perfectly, and the wires are longer than the original's wires - no issues reaching the connections that needed to be made. Install was super easy, just 3 screws, plug in connectors and you're done. PC powered right up and I was surprised how quiet this power supply runs. The CPU fans run MUCH louder than this power supply. It comes with a rather short power cable, but I chose to use the PC's original power cable. So far, so good, and a great deal for the price paid. The original, if I could find one brand new, would have cost me about $20 more. And this replacement has more connectors and 50 watts more power than the original. If it starts to act up or dies prematurely, I'll try to update this review.

Fits Slim Cases and works well with video cards that need power
I have been using Apevia Power Supplies for about 3 years. 300W, 400W & 500W units. They make a nice upgrade or replacement for the oem units that come with the InWin cases that I primarily use. I use the 400W & 500W when I install a multi display video card (usually nvidia K1200). Up until recently I have not had any issues with any of the power supplies from Apevia. And so far only 1 of about 30 units I have installed has failed and that I think was due to the user bypassing the UPS unit..That said, the last two Apevia TFX-PFC500W TFX 500W units were both bad. They worked fine, but once I stood the case up on its side both of the units starts ticking like the fan was hitting something or was not mounted properly. (all the PCs are stood up this way). If I turned it upside down or on either side the ticking stopped..They replaced one with another unit and it did the same (thus 2 units). So then I ordered a 400W and installed it. No problem with it, no ticking. This tells me that they must have gotten a bad batch. I will try again the next time I need to get one and hope we have gotten past the bad ones..I gave a 4 star only because getting two in a row means bad quality control, but all the previous units were fine. Otherwise I would have given them a 5 star. And I will not knock them down more unless a month from now I am still getting ticking units.
