I need to retract this review- Old the old battery and had it charged, and tried to use it last night and the same thing was happening and I thought to myself ohh my gosh that battery broke my Dyson lol something didn't make sense and I took the battery apart I mean the vacuum and it was something that was stuck that was preventing the suction so that's why it would suck and then stop suck and then it stopped. I apologize that I thought it was this battery and I am retracting what I've said and don't use this review as a negative because now I don't know how good the battery is or is not lol Do not buy-I have become somewhat of a smarter shopper by reading reviews. This one had a lot of good reviews, but I should have paid more attention to the guy that said it stopped charging after a few months. Sometimes I think ohh just picky buyer but some reason it kind of stayed in my head. And it was proven correct... do not buy, Especially now when they are giving you warnings that everything has to be intact unused and they will take money away from you and all these different warnings trust me if someone says it didn't work for them use that as your guiding point I was very pleased when I first received it and used it a couple times, I'm not a heavy duty vacuum or, however I'm fully charged, and I started using it it starts and stops starts and stops starts and stops and then it stops completely and I'm talking about a week some off brands are better not bought. Especially like a battery sometimes you just have to go back to a name brand. and btw I never give negative review- this is my first

The replacement battery worked perfectly in my Dyson. It charges pretty quickly. The only complaint i have is related to the instructions to install. They were not intuitive. I did figure them out, but they could have been written more plainly and with better photos.

This is a very good deal. It includes everything you need, including the properly sized screw driver and extra screws in case you mess one up. Very nice. The battery swap was easy. Fits perfectly and charges up fine. Time will tell, but I suspect this will last. The filters are definitely fine. That said, I found the included frame does not sit flush in my Dyson V7. I popped the filter off of the included frame and popped it onto the OEM frame and it fit perfectly. If you find the filters don't sit flush, the filters are fine just put them on the Dyson OEM frame that came with your vacuum. The tabs fit perfectly and you're good to rock and roll!

Works great and easy to install

Easy to swap out. Works perfectly on my d7 fluffy. I have my charger set up on a stand for quick access and this replacement still fits it just as the old one did. I did notice the replacement has a thin rubber pad on the back edge that was not on the original. It makes it a tighter fit in the charging base, but that hasn't been a problem. I can't figure out what he purpose of the rubber pad is though. I hadn't noticed how bad my old battery was getting until I could barely run it 5 minutes before it would die. Swapped it for this one and now I have my vacuum back!! I can do at least half my house at once now instead of it running out barely after one room!

Don't throw away your dead Dyson V7—just buy this battery instead. The 9000mAh capacity provides incredible, long-lasting suction power that easily beats out the stock battery. It is so convenient to order right on Amazon as soon as your old one craps out. It installs smoothly and feels high-quality.

The battery seems to work fine but the rear filter provided does not fit my V7 Animal vacuum. The top filters do fit correctly.

Well, it's made it just about 3 months. So far so good, I thought I had a major issue with the battery earlier but it turned out that the charger got knocked out of the wall.

Works great. Replaced my failing Dyson battery and can confirm this is compatible.
