Hard to explain. Haha..My wife says they look like sex toys in the garden during the day. They do look cool at night.

These flame-style torches have great features - they flicker, they cast a warm glow for hours, they are solar powered, and they are waterproof.The look great at night, but the bright orange flames do look a bit cartoonish during the daytime. I knocked off a star for this reason.

Cool, but stopped working after a month. Charging them day and nothing. Disappointing.

Love these solar power flame path lights they add a great ambiance to my little oaisis they are good quality and hold a charge through the night. Very good value for the price when I received them.

The good. There are mirrors on three sides so no matter which way these get set up, they'll be getting plenty of sun. It also doesn't take alot to charge them. I had them set up during a very overcast rainy day, and they still managed to soak up enough sun to blaze for pretty much all of the night. When they glow, they are very bright and the light is a warm orange/yellow hue. Which makes for a very dozy outdoors. I plan to set them up in the flower beds so they better blend with the foliage as they are very pigmented.The little not so good. When not on at night, they look like melted ice cream. The flames aren't very sharply defined so they made me think of a melting ice cream cone. Which is fine, I don't tend to stare at the solar lights during daytime anyway. But if these were to be put up against something colorful, they'd blend right in.

I knew they weren't going to be realistic looking but mine almost look defective. They are a solid bright orange color and the flame looks like a big blob of melted plastic . Even when mine are lit there is no variation in the color of the flame it is just orange. There is no golden color from the light coming through like they are too thick. They do charge and light up faithfully and they flicker. They are just way too cartoonish for me.
