Reliable and Practical
This is my 2nd purchase of this valve. The first one is still going after 5 years. A set of batteries lasts for the entire watering season. We move the batteries and store the valves for the winter. We also have an Orbit 6 station controller and needed a couple more stations. These single valves can be added anywhere there is a spigot. The main thing that I like is it's so easy to set up and change the program. These are well-made and will last if not abused.

The BEST Faucet Timer!!!
Absolutely 5 stars! I'm still using this same type of faucet timer that I've had for probably 10 years. I recently needed another one for the front yard as well as the back so I was so happy to see that this same faucet timer was still for sale on Amazon. It works perfectly. It's easy to figure out how to use, even without the instructions, which btw, are very well written in Englsh. I love the simplicity of it. Just turn the big knob and set the time, how long, how many days, etc....SO EASY!!! I used a little plumbers tape on the end where the hose attaches too, and some on my faucet and there are no water leaks whatsoever. I have them both running for 3 hours daily until my gardens are done for the season. I can't say enough good things about this faucet timer. Love it!!! Also, I received it the same day that I ordered it.

Irrigation timer
Timer does everything needed. Priced right. Easy to setup and operate. No leaks so far. I installed quick connect fittings so plastic threads don't wear out. In the off season I disconnect it from the hose and remove batteries. Also have an older version of this and it still works great. Just needed another one for the front yard.

Very easy to set.
Great Timer so far but after you set it you have to wait for it to star the next morning for all your settings to star working, this is no problem once you know this, I did several settings on mine and it started working the next morning. I set mine for every day, every 6 hours for 15 minutes. I set it to start at 7 am so it would water at 7 then at 1 pm then at 7 pm and finally at 1 am, I thought it would start at 1 pm they day I turned it on but it had to cycle till the next morning at 7am to start the sequence and every thing work as planed. I did have to straighten out one of the battery springs because it was not getting a good connection, works fine now, we will see how long it will last now.

Easy to use, plants live without remembering to water them!
I have four of these, one or two on each of my outdoor spigots, each hooked up with a "Y" so I can still use the spigot for other things, each one supplying water to a different set of plants around my house. I like this particular model --- or any of the ones that look just like it --- because they are inexpensive and easy to understand and use. Back when I had only one or two, I did leave them outside one winter and they did not work in the Spring, so take them inside and remove the batteries when you are approaching first frost and they will work the next year. (Mine did anyway.) You program them (with simple buttons) to water for a certain number of minutes, as often as you want ( every day or two or three) depending on how dry and hot the summer is. It just takes a minute to change to more or less time if conditions change. You can also push the button for "manual" and have it turn on immediately for however long you want, if you suddenly notice that you underestimated the water needs, everything is dry, and you need to give everything a little more water immediately. If you like taking vacations in the summer, and don't have some kind of automatic watering system to make sure everything is alive when you come back, I think you're missing out. I started out using a little pre-packaged system, just to water all the pots on the deck while I was gone years ago, and it worked so well that I expanded to the all the plants and gardening near the house. Setting up the tubing and the little water emitters is the time consuming part, but I do it once a year; I think the garden does better, with less time spent watering overall!

Easy setup and reliable
Purchased two of these to be used while on vacation. Very easy setup and they worked flawlessly. Returned home to find that our plants and herbs had not only survived but thrived while we were away and in the Phoenix August heat.

Easy to configure, work as expected, no leaks
These timers work great. I just bought a second one and have been using them all summer. They’re incredibly easy to program and so far they work as they’re supposed to. I have them hooked up to my spigot and the spigot is always on, but the water doesn’t flow until the timer, allows it to. No leaks so far.

Broken, internal leaking, great customer care from Orbit!
Broken in a month but with a good ending! 1 day past my return window the timer stopped working, I had kept it under cover and checked the hose fittings, no leaks, I opened up the battery case and pulled it out and green circuit board shavings were on the batteries, I looked inside and the circuit board is fried due to internal leakage, word of warning, check before you 30 days is up, even if it still works because 1 out of the 2 I ordered has internal leaking, on a positive note the Orbit customer support is great! Bridgette helped me get a new one sent to me at no charge, thanks Bridgette and thanks Orbit for your excellent customer care!
