These are great. I like that you get a variety of 2 colors, both of which look awesome. An interesting thing too is that with the silver one...you can see your own reflection in it as it spins....very cool. And both have the same hypnotic kindof thing going on...as it spins...especially as it slows down and goes a bit slower....and slower......thats when it begins to look the most hypnotic. So the only bad thing here...is it can he bard to get it to spin for even like 45 seconds. It seems to usually spin for me for about 20-25 seconds, with the cool hypnotic effect for like...half that, so 10-15 seconds. and then you have to spin it again. I did manage to spin it for maybe 45 seconds to 1 minute...on my best spin. But if you spin too hard...it starts wobbling and vibrating on the bottom...thus cutting its momentum...and not making it spin as much. So maybe there is an art to getting the right "spin" down, but I tried on multiple different surfaces...and it was difficult to get it to spin more than 30 seconds or so on all of them. But...its definitely fun, looks cool, and definitely...gives you that mesmerizing feeling....every time you look at it as its winding down for at least some seconds.They also look great as desk ornaments when you aren't using them too. (I tried them on wood desk, on rubber textured type material such as found on gym equipment, but my arm rest at desk, and on very smooth clear acyrlic table.) It wasn't really any easier or harder on any one of them, and they spin well on all of them...even the rubber type material....just not for a long time as mentioned...unless perhaps one gets better at the "art" of spinning it. Overall: The effect is great enough, and they look great when not in use, that I have to give it 5/5. It's awesome, and I definitely recommend it if you want a unique fidget object/desk ornament.

I enjoy fidget toys and am 42 years old, I do not care what others think. If it's fun, it's in my house. I like to have these things on hand to let everyone enjoy, and they do when they come over. These sit on a flat surface and you give it a spin it will twirl around for a while depending on how much torque you have given it and sort of hypnotizing. These are kind of small so keep them away from small babies and toddlers until they are big enough to know better. A small child may be tempted to put these in their mouth, and for those with severe disabilities, the autism/down syndrome caregivers will know if they can handle a toy like this responsibly or not. Not trying to exclude them, these can pose a choking hazard to those incapable of understanding why you can't put them in your mouth. These were just what I was looking for. Wanting something to be able to focus on for the brief time I'm waiting for something to download or install at my desk, not needing much, just a little something. And these are perfect! I love that it comes in a pack of two, and the movement of these little fidgets is so mesmerizing to watch. The only gripe I have is that they're a little louder than I wanted but that's more personal preference. All in all, these things feel solid with a good weight. And I enjoy them more than I even expected to!

I didn't know what to call this. It's meh, even for a fidget. When you spin them, the lines go upwards repeatedly for about 45 seconds, then the ball stops spinning. It's not something you do absentmindedly like some other widgets. The only thing I found good about these is that they do not spin off a desk like a top would. There is no great optical illusion as claimed.

I love these balls! I bought them for all my family and friends last year for Christmas and they were a BIG hit!! They are nicely balanced so that with a twist of your fingers, they spin for several minutes. The grooved lines pull you in as it turns. Very soothing. I have one on my table and no one can resist spinning it and watching it. Literally everyone who sits there plays with it - and not just one spin. It has a nice weight and the bottom keeps it from slipping around. Great stocking stuffer, egg stuffer or any little kitschy kind of gift ,this is perfect!

I work a desk job that requires focus and attention, and having things to fiddle with can be helpful. I've had a fidget spinner for the past year and it's a nice little distraction for those moments of thought/planning when my hands are idle. Thought these would be a nice addition but I'm not impressed. One of the bases fell out immediately upon removing it from the box. As far as the enjoyment they provide, it's just not there. They spin on the desk for a bit over a minute with a good spin, but really aren't as fun as I'd hoped. They do have a nice weight to them despite their small size, and the finish is pretty nice.

All you need is a flat, fairly level surface and the ability to put it into motion.Very cool and sort of hypnotizing.Of the two colors sent, I like the prism one the best. The silver is cool too, but wow -- the prism one pulls in so many colors.Fun desk toy - takes up no space, but will have a zen effect when you need it.
