Im very happy with this pull up bar. I weigh 80kgs and this thing is solid.Mine is mounted outside the house and bolted into brick.The price is really good.Chin ups/pulls are one of the best excersices to make you very strong.Ive just started training again after a long break and on my first day after fitting this bar i did 55 strict pull ups.I learnt a very unique method of training whilst in the Forces.First you do 1.If you cant do 1, get a chair to get yourself up their, lower yourself down as slow as possible, its called a 'negative' do 3 each day for a week.Do 1 pull up, rest 2 minsDo 2 pull ups, rest 2 minsDo 3 pull ups, rest to minsEtc until you finish with 10.This equals 55. And thats the aim. Try and do this 3 times per week.You can incorporate other exercises like, pressups, sits ups, hand stand press ups, (if you cant do them do negatives eg do a handstand up a wall and slowly collapse down.Remember to warm up your shoulders, and treat yourself to a foam roller (vids on YouTube about these)As you gain strength you can remove your thumb from the grip and use just your fingers, then you can remove finger until you can do chins using 1 finger.This will all take time, do your pulls with strict form and control, once your technique fails. Had this for approaching a year now. My son uses it frequently, me less so :-( . However, he shows no mercy. The bolt holding the bag did undo a couple of months ago due to use - but easy to put back. The only concern I had was the chin up bar - feels like it could get ripped of if you pulled hard on one side - but then the price is great, after a year it is still working well and overall the wall assembly is very solid. (Upgraded rating from initial 4 to a 5 - it was a 4 because of concern with the solidity of the chin up bar.)

I bought this for my garage gym and its still going strong, great item, only niggle was having to buy an extra nut to stop the bag spinning off after continual use, other than that I would recommend this item

I had previously left a one star review as the product I received was mis-shapen and unusable and the seller was being uncooperative. Coincidentally, as soon as I published that and opened a dispute the seller began jumping through hoops to replace it.The new product received still suffered from the angles being slightly off, but not enough to prevent assembly and safe mounting. The chin up bar seems as stable as you'd expect for being secured at one point, and the bracket is easily sturdy enough to support my ~100kg frame without moving overly much, though admittedly I felt it prudent to replace the supplied bolts and plastic rawlplugs with longer bolts and steel plugs, so I can't comment on the supplied fittings.I'm yet to hang a punchbag, so I can't comment on performance in that area, though I can;t see why there would be any issues.I probably would have given an extra star, but for my previous issues with the seller.

Just brilliant. 3 in 1. I use it to hang a punch bag, TRX ropes and pull ups. Currently hanging on a reinforced fence post this has survived 3 months of the UK winter the whole family uses it.

The product arrived in quick time and in great condition. It was easy to mount and the bolts and plugs provided are perfectly suitable for the job. The chin up bar is perfect and is really great for training, the attachment for the punch bag is perfect and easy to use overall a great product really well made and looks great too!!

Holds my weight well considering I’m 6,4 and 17 stone, feels sturdy and have not pulled the wall down when doing pull ups, yet to try it with a heavy bag yet but so far so good.

Finally putting this up now after years. Lost the instructions so thanks putting them up. I see some people swap the punch bag to the front, but I'll keep it back. Will update after installation.
