It's simple and effective and it does the job and it even has an extension on the top. If you want the fountain to spray but we built something that was too small for that. Still we are very satisfied with the durability of the pump. How it cleanses the fountain and the price point. There was hardly anything to installing it and it's simply fabulous!

As a result my goldfish survived the freezing temperatures, snow and ice in NE PA. It does a good job keeping the water clear and the large filter is easy to remove and clean.

The filter box with the pump inside is too light weight. It tips over to easy. Other than that it is nice and doing a good job in the pond.
