Item came as described. Very durable. I purchased this as a badge holder. My badge holders wear out quickly because I also keep my office keys on it. So it is constantly getting retracted. I just wish they made a more feminine version- maybe a thought for future priduction :)

The clip holds tight and firm to either pants or a belt. I wear several different keys for work and this holds them all without dragging. High quality and great strength to handle jobs with a bunch of keys like police, security, janitor etc... Simple design that works as needed. No fancy bells and whistles, just a great product.

This Two pack is a great deal. Many of these style retractable ID card holder things are junkie. This one is made of metal and the clip on the back is nice and tight so you shouldn’t have to worry about it falling off your hip, even if you bump into something. All metal construction is nice. The price is very reasonable and the retention on the wire mechanism is very good. I have my ID frame on there as well as a little mini flashlight and a sharpie marker attached and it does not sag or hang down. In fact when pulling it there’s quite a bit of Force need to actually pull this thing out and when you let go, you’ll know it, but I actually prefer that as now I don’t have to worry about the thing dangling down to my knee and getting caught up in something at work great little product.

I purchased this product solely because of the wire string, I was so tired of the cheaper ones either breaking, or wearing down so bad it gets stuck when pulling on your badge to use. This definitely feels more premium, and the thickness of the wire gives me peace of mind. However, the reason I gave it 4 stars is because I stupidly didn't realize how heavy it would be. I'm not one to wear it on my belt clip, I prefer it up on the collar of my shirt. While I know it won't go anywhere due to its size and weight, please understand this thing is super hefty, and large. The clip on the back is heavy too and doesn't have too much give. If i'm not careful, I can feel it ripping some of the fibers of my shirt.

Really amazing quality! I love that it has a little key ring on it if you need to put keys on there. Super easy to use, but be careful, it does snap back fast. I use them everyday for work. Definitely worth the purchase

I bought this after seeing my co-workers using these for their badges, keys, markers and other odds and ends. I was surprised at how springy they seemed with all of that loaded on. Since I was going through badge buddies about once a month, I decided to order them and they definitely live up to expectations. The steel cables being coated was a great idea so that they do not fray. The recall of the pulled line is strong and fast even when weighed down. Overall I love these and wish that I bought them sooner.

It's a very strong reel with strong tension, just like it says.But it has a weak point that makes it fairly useless: the clip. It's loose and has no grip whatsoever. It might work on a very thick leather belt, but on a pocket or a collar it just slides around. If you move around a lot while wearing this, it will fall off.

Overall, very durable product. My reason for the three stars is that it weighs down your scrub shirt just a bit. When I go and pull on my badge to badge-in a door, the entire thing comes off my shirt hitting me on the hand, since it’s sturdy, does hurt a bit. I have to hold it on my shirt, then pull on my badge to be able to use my badge. Kind of a nuisance if I have my hands full and want to pull on my badge to use it to scan into a computer or something else. Used it for about two weeks.
