new to jump rope, I had never skipped before, great exercise when you get the bug, brought 4 different ropes in 2 months ,cheapest £6.75 dearest £19.99 just could not resist trying different ones out, prices for ropes are cheap considering the value you get from using one, especially when you see a steady improvement. All ropes had their merits but this one stood out for me as the one that was the best rope for the following reasons:the cheaper speed ropes, adjustment method does not not secure rope in position, it works fine until you drop a skip and you want to complete your set immediately, the rope moves so when you restart it is not the correct lengthdearest speed rope used Allen key and grub screw, fine if you know your exact length but if you alter it a few times the combination wears and then does not not tighten securely (There was a spare for both)heavier leather rope with large wooden quality handles was good especially for beginner, but you would soon want a speed rope as you improved (maybe even to the double over,)This rope comes with the most robust easy repeatable adjustment, two ropes are provided different thickness to suit , with protection rubber for each size for outside use , This rope is easily the best value, but the bearings, hey, give them a manual spin and they still spin 10 seconds later, how good can you get, examination shows them be be a proper race. The other rope sets never even got close. checked the other ropes for sale on amazon with these observations and this one wins hands down A £40 pound plus rope might be better, but at this price it would be good if you you try one first, The cross rope looks good but at the European price that would have to be a Xmas present to self.

Extremely smooth. I've never been much good at jump rope, I had no idea that things had come so far since the nylon ropes we had in 'jump rope for heart' in the 90s in NZ.The action is smooth. The length is easy to adjust. No need for Allen keys like with other brands I looked at.Comes with two cables (different weights, I think) and a nylon sheath to slip over if you use on concrete. and a little bag to hold it all, with spare screws.

I've been looking for a second jump rope as the one I use has a very light cable, and wanted more feedback when using a jump rope and this fits the bill. Plus good reviews on various sites meant it was worth checking out. It's very well made. The handles are comfy and the handles just spin due to the ball bearings inside them. When it arrived and I opened the box the first thing you'll notice is the nice little touches. A spare (red) cable. Lighter then the black one you also get. Spare cable end caps, and adjuster screws, plus two different sizes of rubber tubing to fit over both cables, for those who jump rope on concrete or tarmac etc. You also get a carry bag to keep the jump rope in and an instructional card and a discount card to use within 7 days on another purchase. All this adds up to a nice package. The rope performs very well and thanks to the feedback I've learnt the boxer step far quicker then with a lighter speed rope. Also the handle caps unscrew so you could add some small weights to the handles. Some (AA) batteries would do the trick of find some custom weights to fit. Overall an excellent product. Would highly recommend.

Haven't had much of a chance to use the rope yet as the delivery coincided with a knee injury which is forcing me to delay using it, my review is therefore based upon the apparent quality of the product and the after-market support which has bee excellent. The rope looks very well made, spares included and an informative guide. The follow-up emailed guide to workouts is a very nice touch which ensures longevity of the product for months to come. Excellent so far - just wish I could get started with the actual skipping!

I love the weight, feel and the ball bearing approach to focus the routine by keeping the body still so only minimal wrist movement is needed. I have switched to the red speed rope (which was very easy to do) as the red blur kinda gives me more incentive to train hard and you can increase or decrease the tempo as needed. Highly recommend this as part of anyone's gym routine.. Only got the basic instruction set as yet but am sure will get more challenging one soon.. Gets the heart pumping... a largely forgotten exercise made better with this piece of kit!!

Best skipping rope ive ever had, if your looking for a top quality skipping rope then I can without hesitation fully endorse this rope. It is very well made the cable is heavy enough so you can exercise at a very high work rate. The action is very smooth thanks to the roller bearings within the handles.i tend to exercise on concrete and though it is not recommended the cable is holding up well with minimum damage to the cable. So in my opinion if your looking for a good quality skipping rope I would recommend this rope every time.

Great rope, spins well, easy to use, good quality and easily personalised. Comes with 2 rope thicknesses. Gave 4 stars only because the protector that you slide over the thickest rope that makes contact with the ground is too tight to put on so have to use without it.
