I had never heard of this product and wished I'd had before previously having an apple car play unit professionally installed. I have however bought this for my van, it arrived next day and was installed in minutes. Follow the instructions carefully and maybe take a look at a few YouTube videos to help with the connections as there are a few ways to connect to your vehicle for sound options. The quality of sound when played through the van speakers exceeded expectations. It does have a built in speaker but would be barely audible over a diesel engine so I'd definitely suggest you connect via the vehicle speakers. Cracking piece of kit very responsive and bright screen, loads of options. Fits easily on the dash by several options, I just wish I'd bought one sooner. Connects via Bluetooth from your phone and gives you various apps instantly, very impressed.

REVIEW UPDATE after a month and 3 days I can say that after the first month of use this product starts to degrade, screen reactivity and connection problems, the WI FI doesn't work, sometimes it takes a while to turn on, there is no customer service of the product, you only have AMAZON's 30-day return policy, otherwise there is a high probability of losing the money spent

So i needed to upgraded the stereo system in my classic car and this product has been working flawlessly. Despite some reviews mentioning issues with the adhesive not sticking, I personally have not encountered any problems. The built in satnav is incredible, making traveling so much easier. You can choose to play music through the original car speakers via an aux cable or use the stereo's built on speakers. With music apps, carplay, android auto, satnav, and a reverse camera function, this product offers great value for its price. Setting it up was also so easy, taking only about 5 minutes. It has a touchscreen with very good response and looks so luxurious and makes your interior look alot better. I highly recommend this product as I believe it's one of the best options available on the market.

Although an amazing idea to modernise an older vehicle there are a lot of faults with this.The screen size is great and when the device is connected its great. However, the adhesive is very poor and the device unstuck while I was driving. Kept falling down due to the poor adhesive and I had to then balance it on my passenger seat as i was worried of damage to the screen.Kept disconnectingFor the price I really don't think it is worth it which is a shame because when the product was working it was really good

Quality seems to be the one of the best in the industry. Had many others b4 this CarPlay and the result were shamefully terrible. Love the dual Bluetooth connectivity and quality of the screen is awesome! Recommended at all cost. Coustomer Support is outstanding!

Summary:I love having wireless CarPlay on a large screen and lots of flexibility on installation. Often unusable due to the glare. You’re paying for flexibility you won’t use all the time, there are less expensive alternatives with fewer options if you know what you need.Purchased as for a project to have a modern built in look on an older car. The flexibility has been really important as I went from standalone unit stuck to the windshield with wires drooping everywhere to wired mic and audio in, with bluetooth audio in between. The longer I have it, the less I need the flexibility and more shortcomings I notice, not sure it’ll keep it.What should be fixed:* The mirror like glare isn’t compatible with a convertible. Unacceptable, took off 1.5 stars for this.* The huge white CARPURIDE logo is more obnoxious than it looks. Just use the splash screen in the future.* The backup cam is too ugly to consider installing.What I love:* Fast boot up.* Great wireless CarPlay connection.* Excellent flexibility out of the box; mounting options, audio out, and mic in.* Equalizer has let me adjust to overcome bad speakers.* Glass screen is much nicer than plastic.* Custom boot up splash screen is available.Flaws to be aware of:* It wobbles due to its size and the very narrow mounting bracket, which makes touching it while on the road too hard. An optional bracket with wider dash mount support should be available.* The built in speaker isn’t great, especially for music, and the mic (which is on the passenger side of the unit front) picks up background noise. I didn’t expect much from these anyway, and they’re still better than nothing.* With Aux Out I get a pop from the amp turning the car and off. I don’t think this is all the unit’s fault, but it would be nice to have a volume ramp up option to eliminate the pop on.

So far I'm pleased with the item. Haven't used it much so far. I won't have to worry about updates like the Garmin. It's also cool putting it in satellite mode to see the surroundings.

My iPhone connects every time I use the unit. However, the Bluetooth transmitter in my vehicle has to be reset every time I start it. The FM transmitter is terrible. My 2022 Ford F-250 vehicle does not support the aux cord. This unit works well as long as you don't want audio.

It’s big! I bought to use in my Jeep. Bluetooth connection to my Bluetooth speakers mounted to my roll bar. Bluetooth connection cuts in and out after a while. Very annoying. At times calls will not completely connect, just cuts sound for a bit then nothing. At times the music display, on the multiple display setting, will freeze, stays showing a some, then never changes, the skip buttons and pause buttons don’t work. Same screen will not work with my OnX maps, just stays on a picture of the map and will not move, but it does work if I am in the OnX map only screen. The volume control is a pain. Have to go through a different screen to change the volume. Would be nice if it was on all screens. I do love the sound equalizer! Huge plus! I bought a Ram mount to attach it to a Ram ball mount system. Much more secure. Doesn’t come with a much needed phone mic. No one can hear me very well. Yes I like it. I think it’s over priced with some obvious flaws. Wish the bugs were worked out before it was released for sale.
