HUBBLE CONNECTED SkyVision AI Pro Baby Monitor Camera, HD 5" Home Display

Bought for a shower gift for my niece, she loved it and was excited to start using it. Came quickly and was packaged well.

This monitor is absolute garbage. The battery life from the get go is so horrible and you have to keep it charged all night so it won’t die on you, as it dies within 2 hours if it is not plugged in even at full battery. Then about 6 months in, the charging became faulty to where it was not charging the monitor properly. I hit the final straw last night when the monitor died in the middle of the night WHILE BEING PLUGGED IN and I did not hear my baby crying in the night. Absolutely do not purchase this monitor and find something else, as I will be getting rid of this immediately.

I can’t recommend this camera….. the app works well and the camera images themselves look fine but YOU CANNOT HEAR THE BABY CRYING?! The camera is picking up his sound machine and is making more of an echo noise, I can hear it clearly from the app but when I use the monitor at night time, the sound is basically non existent and I for sure wouldn’t be able to hear my baby!

When we first set it up it was great. Everything worked well. Loved that I could watch it on my phone. Then baby came and we are 5+ months in and she’s started to sleep in her crib. Now the app video never works, says camera is offline but it is not. The picture quality is good. Range hasn’t been a problem. I bought a camera w an app feature for it to work when I wanted to check it not when it decides to work. There’s got to be better.

Super easy to assemble and hook up the camera to the tablet it comes with. Our baby has a similar set up in the nicu so we are super excited to have a the same at home!

This camera is too expensive to be this horrible. Do not get this camera! We have experienced some disconnects randomly, but now literally the night we moved our baby to his own room, it went out and we couldn’t hear our baby crying with gas discomfort through the monitor at all… Unacceptable. Thankfully we are across the hall and did end up hearing him when he escalated a little more. They have all these other cool AI features that only half work, but the one thing that needs to work is the monitoring and that is not reliable at all. And no, it is not the home network as our security camera, the owlet and other things we have did not disconnect.

Really easy to set up and use. I know there are even more features we have not explored yet. The picture quality is great, never had any connection issues and as far as video monitors with all these features it was a good value for the price point. The only issues I have are: 1. The temperature readings are about 8 degrees off so we use it as a relative idea if the nursery is on the warmer or colder side but the actual temperature is not right 2. The battery life on the monitor is not great, has to be plugged in overnight, will last about 5-6 hours if not plugged in.

The monitor has eased my mind and allowed me to do more of what I need to while still being able to hear/watch my child

Parent unit worked for 5min. It freezes on loading screen. Hubble support does not provide replacement units outside US

Item broke within a couple months and have been trying to deal with the brand for many months now. They initially said they could only mail any replacement to a US address even though we purchased from Amazon Canada. Brand is unresponsive and keeps delaying.

Kept disconnecting literally in the first two weeks of purchase. Not reliable. I do like the features it provides, but the unit keeps freezing and going offline
