The quality is nice and works well giving a long lasting use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They are the best bang for your buck. *by U***Y on May 14, 2026* With the addition of this purchase, I now own twelve of these batteries. I use them primarily for my Makita OPE stuff (chainsaw, string trimmer) in the 18V x 2 platform...so it takes two batteries to run either tool. I have also wired RV lights to docking ports for these batteries to make trouble lights. I get about 25 minutes of string trimmer run time per set...about five minutes less than the thirty minutes I get with genuine 5ah batteries...at 1/6 the unit cost. I cannot attest to longevity beyond two years...my first purchase of this specific brand...but I churn the daylights outta these guys. My first four have been cycled close to 250 times already and haven't shown any dropoff in either capacity or charge time. I charge them on a genuine dual battery rapid charger. I might pick up at least a couple more... let's see how this summer goes. If I begin to see that I need all day capability for my OPE stuff, that's what I'll do. Get more batteries...not work all day. Too old for that now.
