I bought a different gold necklace from a separate company that I feel like has kept a better gold look and hasn’t tarnished as fast as this one has. For the price on this I mean, what can you expect? It’s not a big deal that it’s already looking a little bit bronzy and it’s only been worn like a week or two. But I’m really bad and don’t take them off when I go to the gym or shower and what not so it was expected Just beware.

I absolutely love this butterfly necklace! It’s co cute and delicate with nice packaging. The design is beautiful and well made, definitely a new favorite piece of jewelry to any outfit!

This necklace is very cute. The chain is clavicle length on me, which doesn't work super well for this pendant. This pendant really needs a longer chain to let it drape properly, so I'll probably swap the chain out at a later date.The pendant itself is on the cheap side, but that's to be expected at this price point. The metal is a little bit thin, but it seems to hold its shape relatively well. It takes concerted effort to reshape it. There are light-allowing holes in the back of the pendant behind the gems, each gem with its own hole, even the chips. It shines beautifully as a result.My major concern with this pendant has to do with its poor alignment.The bar that connects the top butterfly to the bottom is curved slightly to one side but twisted slightly to the other, causing the lower butterfly to hang in the correct position but slightly twisted out of alignment. This causes the whole pendant to constantly want to twist on itself and needing to be realigned regularly throughout normal wear.The chain that connects the drop pendant to the lower butterfly has one too many links on it, causing the drop gem to hang sideways rather than front-facing as it should. Since the drop-gem has a rounded side and flat front, and it's front-heavy to boot, it's constantly flipping onto its front and showing its back, something I'm sure is further exacerbated by the slightly-twisted lower butterfly that it hangs from.Both of these alignment issues are minor, fixible issues that should be resolved during production but weren't. I don't know if this is a quality control issue or if all of the pendants of this style have this problem. Either way, resolution of these two alignment problems would have made this a five-star necklace, but with them, it makes the pendant unwearable. Having to realign my pendant every thirty seconds is just not conducive to wearability.
