Fit is true to size Fabric is comfortable on the skin under my breeze and it didn’t fry badly when I had to trim the thumb hole a little bit shorter.

These stockinette-style arm and hand sleeves offer the familiar comfort of traditional liners with smart upgrades. The fabric is thicker and more durable than standard options, making them ideal for long-term, washable reuse. The thumb anchor keeps each sleeve securely in place, and the gentle compression may offer mild support for certain conditions. The material is ridged yet breathable, allowing airflow while protecting sensitive skin, perfect for lining braces, splints, or casts. The fingerless design lets you maintain dexterity, and the extended length covers up to the middle knuckle for added protection. You can also roll them back to expose more of your hand if needed.

I didn't expect much in the way of quality and finishing touches so I got what I expected. They all have loose strings on the end and start to unravel quickly. The strings get stuck on the velcro of the brace and make it unravel more. I didn't rate lower for that just because that's kind of expected with the price point on these. The seam between the thumb and the hand is very thick, so I can't use these because I wear the braces that wrap around your thumb and the seam is so thick it cuts off circulation trying to wear my brace even at its loosest point. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the compression aspect was perfect. It works well for basic braces like the carpal tunnel ones, so may not be a bad idea if that's all you're wearing. If you have a brace that covers your thumb, then I would suggest avoiding this one.

These "hand socks" are comfortable, don't irritate my skin, and protect my brace from rubbing against my incision. My only complaint is that the seams pull apart. Of the five hand socks I've used so far, all five have had to be repaired. Even so, if I had the need for these, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. I throw them in a garment bag and wash on a delicate cycle with like colors, and these come out great.

The Velpeau hand socks are very well made and really helped when I was put in a removable hard cast after thumb and wrist surgery. The cast kept rubbing against the incisions and it was pretty painful. I ordered these gloves and they go halfway up my arm and completely cover my thumb. Definitely helps control the pain. I would definitely recommend these for anyone going through hand surgery.

SO much more comfortable than what I was given at the hospital! Soft, smooth fabric that doesn’t irritate hypersensitive skin; stretchy and supportive without being tight or constraining. As my wrist heals, I often wear them even without the splint, for extra cushioning and protection. A great product!

About two months prior to this order, I had purchased this exact same product (Velpeau-10pk wrist+thumb supportive hand socks, exact same medium size, even in the same black color) to aid with my post-surgery recovery after my triple thumb/wrist tendon repair, and they were so amazing! Exactly what I needed, they were very supporting, comfortable and durable, I wore them out and ragged from my constant 24-hour worn, everyday use. I didn't even look into any other options when eventually purchasing my next set, I wanted the exact same awesome set of these hand socks to replace my out old ones, it was an easy decision as I knew, from experience, that these were perfect for my needs. I was very surprised to find that the new set I received from you were simply falling apart, completely unraveling rapidly after only five minutes of my putting one on. I did not alter or stretch any out or force fit them, or cut them down to fit. Totally busted fraying stitching on 8 out of 10, 80% failure rate is insane! What Happened? Are they all going to be like this from now on?
