While this unit didn't work for us personally, I'm giving it 5 stars for its overall functionality. It's sturdy, well built and it was easy to put together. The bathtub grip is simple to adjust and does have excellent grip when fastened to the tub- it was FAR sturdier than I was honestly expecting. This unit was purchased for a taller person (6ft+) and just didn't provide enough height to be helpful. However for a shorter person, this would be a great product.

This grab bar is very easy to install. It is made of metal and is very sturdy, providing great support. I needed something to hold on to instead of the towel rack and am pleased to say this works really well. In addition, I can hold on to it when I wash the feet. The handle has rubber on the top so it is comfortable, and you will not slip. Highly recommend this grab bar. One other thing to note, you can take it with you when you travel and employ it in hotels or when staying with family. Will not damage tubs.

This device is really helpful for people who have difficulty maneuvering in a bathtub. I have back and knee problems which benefit greatly from a hot bath, but make it nearly impossible to me to get up from a lying position in the tub. This device was simple to install, is very sturdy and allows me to pull myself up into a position that allows me to get out of the tub by myself, as well as helping me lower myself into the tub. The adjustable height allowed me to set the handle at the perfect height. The clamp has rubbery pads which grip the tub to keep it from slipping and protect the tub from scratches. I can easily move it to a different spot on the side of the tub, remove it for cleaning or stow it when company comes. I’m very happy I bought it.

Can't afford a walk in so this was recommended and it is a great help. It's secure and stable allowing you a safe way to exit your tub. My tub floor is higher than my bathroom floor so always felt off-balance getting out. This takes care of it

I love this. This bathtub mounted grab bar is just what I needed. The item mounts easily, no tools required. The rubberized grip makes it secure when you've got wet slippery hands. Its very sturdy. Went together in a couple minutes. Highly recommend!
