I’ve had this catio for my 3 cats about a year now and it’s one of the best purchases i’ve ever made! The year prior to getting this, I had moved, had my first baby, and gotten a divorce. Long story short, my fur babies were stressed with so much change and were having some behavioral issues because of it. Including one that was peeing outside of the box regularly. I tried everything! Vet visits and anxiety medications. Multi-cat home pheromones. More vertical spaces and hiding spaces. Toys and catnip. Moving the litter boxes to different spaces. (We have 3) More playtime. More cuddles. I should’ve taken the jump to invest in this sooner. It came in two boxes. I put it together in an afternoon, completely alone. With a hand screwdriver. 🙃 It was a little difficult figuring out which panels went where but once I got going it got easier. It definitely would’ve been faster with two people and/or with a power drill. But not impossible! I found a kitty door that goes in the window on Amazon as well so they come and go as they please and it helps keep the hot/cold/bugs out. I also got some paver stones and gravel to keep it off the ground, make the bottom even, and help with drainage. They LOVE it! All three. And the behavior issues stopped within a week of having it put together. They’ve used it all seasons, and all of them use it daily to perch, nap, scratch, and jump around from platform to platform. There’s usually only one or two of them at a time as someone else is inside sleeping, stalking, or eating - but there’s enough room when all 3 are in there that they can all have a spot to enjoy. I love the door that I can use to go in and rearrange the boxes, add little beds and cat grass, and do any upkeep. The only issue I’ve had was one cat figured out there was a space up top between the house wall and the roof he could squirm out through, but that’s from my window behind taller than the catio. Just something to be mindful of! I’ve since added a board over that. Hope this helps :) I was a little apprehensive because of the price, but so so worth it!! Every single penny.

I bought this for my indoor cat who likes to sneak outside with us. I put most of it together by myself. Easy instructions for the most part. Spacious enough for him to be comfy and safe at the same time. Yes, it does a scent when you open it but to be expected. Had a little chip on a corner but nothing that was going to be visible. I bought a cover as well so when the weather is bad I keep it dry. Overall I’m completely happy with this purchase. He goes in on his own and I leave the door open while I’m out with him. He loves it.

This is a very nice product. Good value for the money. My cats love it. As stated in other reviews, the instructions SUCK! Half of the pieces were not stamped with ID letters. The other half, the numbers were not legible. It took a lot of time just trying to find the right pieces for each section by looking at the pictures in the manual. It seems flimsy at first but once assembled it is quite sturdy. I actually had to hire a handyman to assemble it for me. It was too hard for me (I'm senior female). Per a suggestion in another review, I applied a waterproof varnish to the entire Catio, inside and out; even though my Catio is on my deck under a roof. The rest of my review is mainly suggestions. I put diatomaceous earth beneath the waterproof indoor/outdoor carpeting on the floor to help with pests (ants are a big problem where I live). I also sprayed all the inside shelves and floor carpeting with non-toxic pest killer for ants and fleas. All of the pieces of the indoor/outdoor carpeting (plastic artificial turf) I cut to size myself and glued them to the "resting shelves" but I didn't glue it down on the deck flooring. Everything can be hosed down for easy cleaning. I have 5 indoor-only cats. They like basking in the evening sunlight on the upper shelves. The Catio is not as big as it looks online, but it is as described. I can walk in it and turn around and that is about all because of the shelves. All in all, I am very happy with the Catio. I am adding some plants around the outside of it so the cats won't feel so exposed. I will be putting a bird feeder and squirrel feeder just across from it so they can watch and enjoy "natural entertainment." I would definitely recommend this Catio, but be prepared for unclear instructions. All that was needed for assembly was a battery operated phillips screwdriver. He also installed a pet door through the double wall of my mobile home. I decided where to put the pet door and then once installed in the correct position, he simply cut the Catio wire to the same shape and size as the pet door. One special addition - I cut and painted measured pieces of plywood 12" tall to put around the 3 open sides of the Catio. There are feral and neighbor's cats around and they have a tendency to spray (tom cats). So this barrier is to stop them from spraying into the Catio so as not to upset my spayed and neutered cats. It works perfectly, one sprayed last night! Today I also put some hot pepper seeds and cayenne pepper down around the outside of the plywood as a deterrent . This won't harm the wild cats, just deter them. It also works well in my garden as the wild cats want to use it as a litter box! Building this took several hours and it arrived in two boxes. I definitely recommend two people due to the size. I had my teenage son separate out everything before we started, but we built it together. We built the four walls inside our house, then moved outside to put them all together. The wood is stained and stamped with the assembly letters, which I liked more than peeling off stickers that make a mess after you are done, but it is a bit tougher to see the letters (dark grey on light grey). Make sure your lighting is good when building. The wood is super soft so you have to go very slow when the final screw tightening is done or risk splitting the wood. The wood staining is very visually appealing, but allows for chips or scratches more easily if rubbed against something too hard. Situational awareness is key in this regard. We didn’t go with the standard configuration of shelves/boxes inside but it was very easy to design this to your specific needs. The softer wood also allows for easy customization if you put something other shelves or what have you inside. We ended up cutting a section out of wire out and installing a shelf upside down for the window entrance, for example. You can also easily remove wired sections if you want since the wire is attached with wood staples, but since I knew my location was permanent, I opted to just cut directly into it. We installed this under a covered porch with concrete underneath so we put down a faux grass rug and we also left the roof flat, instead of angled, which saved a small amount of time and doesn’t effect anything because of our placement. At 5’7” I easily fit through the door so I can change things around to suit my current front porch holiday theme. This was a big selling point for me, to not have to duck through the door to enter. We also bought a combination sliding bolt lock for the door so no one could just walk up and open it without the code since we live in a neighborhood and I didn’t want someone possibly walking up and taking my cats. The other small side doors I screwed shut, but this can easily be undone for possible future expansion. All four of our cats already love this catio. It allows them to go outside to view birds and nap in the sun while being protected. All four can easily use it at once and I feel it’s a must so that my indoor cats can experience the outdoors as much as possible. I’m so happy with the beautiful result.

First of all the cats love it. I was able to install it near a window and made a make shift catdoor out of it. Just open the window and the cats can go in and out as they desire. The unit is a good size for two cats. I question the long term sturdiness of this. When in the box It was well packaged and protected. not all of the panels were marked so it took a little bit to figure out what each panels was for and what part of assembly it as needed for. Putting it together needs two people. I found that some of the design of the panels were needless and non functional. For example one wall it takes three separate panels where they could have done it as one or two. two sets of panels have Hinges on them, for what I have no idea as they are not apart of a door and the panels get screwed together so they are not operable. When assembling the roof it was quite clear the unit was not square and it took quit of bit of work to get it the roof aligned correctly. in the end I question the logvevity and durability of it. some of the wood is already fracturing and splintering. It's an ok cat house, but knowing what I know now, I think I could have done this better and cheaper with 2x4 from Home Depot with some wire mesh.

Happy with catio. It uses light weight wood but after assembled seems sturdy . I placed on a covered porch so wont have to worry about weather but definitely needs flat level surface.may add a board to reinforce door frame bottom , rest of it seems like should last for few years. Much more affordable than having contractor build one qnd most important is my cat loves it.also took about 2 hours with screw gun to assemble.

Some of the pieces were missing letters or numbers. But it was super easy to assemble. All its hardware was already attached. Very good product. Would i buy another Yes

Chaque pièce est bien indiquée, numeroté.Grillage un peu plus solide que certains grillages à poules.Bois un peu fragile.Plusieurs portes d 'ouvertures, très pratique.Toiture incliné en pente, très bien pensé pour évacuer l eau de pluie vers le jardin. La toiture est solide .Je peux tenir debout dans l'enclos,il y a de la place.Les loquets de fermeture et ouvertures sont pratiques. Très contente de cet achat.

Ist ein sehr schöner Käfig zu zweit leicht zum aufbauen

Hübsches Gehege, nicht so stabil wie erwartet, beim Zusammenbau (alleine) musste ich schon ziemlich aufpassen, dass nix durchbricht. Unter anderem Seitenschneider beim Zusammenbau erforderlich. Nach recht kurzer Nutzungszeit ist dann ein Türscharnier durchgebrochen. Es regnet und schneit leider teilweise rein, das Dach müsste weiter überstehen. Steht aber ansonsten recht stabil und ist mehrmals wöchentlich im Einsatz.
