I initially bought it for elthe extra storage from my 1tb sn850 so I planned on upgrading my motherboard, CPU and ram. However, with ram prices as they are, I'll be happy to stick to gen4 speeds for the time-being. However, 4tb will be nice even in a couple of years. Bought for £280 but like ram, and prices are rocketing and is now close to £400 so, swings and roundabouts and all that. Probably not worth it now at £400. ### ⭐ I got 2 defective T705 4TB from Amazon. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 May 2025* Okay, quick one but worth reading. The Crucial T705 is a 5 Star device that delivers ALL the speed and stability it promises. HOWEVER...1 Star is for the two I got from Amazon (sent from partners). Neither the one I first bought nor its replacement worked at all in any of 3 systems.I used the refund to get one from Crucial UK, and THAT I give 5 Stars. It's an awesome drive that is massive overkill for most people, BUT GET IT FROM CRUCIAL, not from Amazon partners. They don't seem to have the proper precautions and measures taken for the drives.Hope this helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - Crucial T705 4TB PCIe Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD with Heatsink- Up to 14,100 MB/s - Game Ready - Internal Solid State Drive (PC) - +1mo Adobe CC - CT4000T705SSD5 - AMD Ryzen™ 9 9950X 16-Core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor - ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero AMD X870E AM5 ATX Motherboard, Advanced AI PC Ready, 18+2+2 Power Stages, DDR5, PCIe® 5.0, 5X M.2, Wi-Fi 7, USB4®, AI Overclocking, Core Flex, PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/614375535-crucial-t705-4tb-ssd-pcie-gen5-nvme-m-2-premium](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/614375535-crucial-t705-4tb-ssd-pcie-gen5-nvme-m-2-premium) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
