Thickened Grand Piano Cover, Waterproof Baby Piano Cover

I got this piano cover to protect our baby grand piano during parties and from cat scratches. I was very pleased with the quality of the cover. It fits the piano perfectly! The black, quilted fabric looks nice, and it is thick enough to protect from our cats' claws I'm hoping the waterproofness of the cover will never be tested, but I'm confident it will do as it is supposed to

Perfect cover! I just love it! The material is not bad based on other's review. For the price, can not complain! I have Kawai baby grand piano, fits just right. The inside lining is also soft and smooth. Will not spend 300 dollars for branded one. If you want affordable and good quality, I highly recommend this.

This was not lined with cotton. Good fit, but not what was described. Inside and outside are both nylon

This piano cover fits well enough. The exterior cover is as described but I seriously question describing this as having “thickened” padding. I don’t have anything to compare to, but calling this thickened makes me think any cover that does not describe itself in that way is made of rice paper. The side facing the piano appears to be the same material as the exterior which is to say it’s meant for exterior protection, not as a soft layer. I had a couple yards of fleece left over from another project so I added that on the inside of the cover to prevent scuffs and scratches. Holding the cover up to the light, the fabric is reasonably opaque so it should do a decent job of providing sun protection, however the stitching lets light through so you would not want to leave your piano anywhere it will be exposed to direct sunlight unless you want a diamond pattern faded into your finish. I did not test water resistance but I would guess it’s not great considering the light-fastness of the stitching. Overall I am not blown away by this item, but considering serious covers cost 3-5x, I’m not going complain. If you need a simple dust cover this works. $5 of fleece is a nice upgrade. If you need more than that, I’d invest in a proper cover.

I have cats and they like to lay on the piano. I put extra padding under the cover because it is not very thick and I am worried about them scratching it. But it gets the job done.

The price is great and the quality is pretty good. It isn't quite as thick or study as a cover that you will pay $300 for, but this still works well. We mainly needed a cover to keep the piano clean and free of dust. I do wish there was a symbol or something to indicate the front. For now we put a red piece of tape on the front so it is easier to line it up with the piano.
