Pastiglie Leone Violet Candy Mints in Retro Small Box, One

Delightfully violet. It's not a mint, but I would accept calling it a breath freshener. Definitely a candy though. I was introduced to this while living in France so finding this on Amazon was exciting, but the Americans I've introduced it to didn't care for the floral taste. Shipping was fast and the little box is cute. Maybe expensive for a little box of candies, though they are delicious.

Delicious and designed in the cutest shape. Keep them in my purse and smile when I pop one in my mouth.

Love these, been buying these for years and they haven't changed except the price has gotten a little ridiculous. So now I only purchase as a special treat for only myself.

I love violet and other floral flavored candies. I’ve tried C. Howard’s from America and Anise De Flavigny from France, so I wanted to try one of Italy’s entries into the floral candy arena(floral flavors seem to be much more popular in Italy). These did not disappoint! Somewhat comparable to C. Howard’s except with a better texture(less chalky) and flavor(this seems a bit more sweet and balanced). I already adore them. The box is lovely too. Too bad they’re so expensive; unfortunately Pastiglie Leone’s website does not have the option to ship to the US. A shame since the prices are much lower, and they have a vast array of unusual and tempting flavors. I am dying to try “Garofano” -Carnation, “Propolis” -honey, and fior d’arancia -orange blossom. To the vendor: please pretty please start carrying these flavors!

The package comes tightly wrapped so when you open it, violet mint dust goes everywhere. The size is deceptive as there are actually quite a few candies crammed in there. I ate all of these dusty, delicious candies in one sitting and my tongue went numb. My teeth were screaming at me. My brain was quite pleased with my decision as I love the taste of these mints. No regrets. Bizarrely, this item did come with a free sample of hair conditioner that I ended up loving, and a perfume I haven't tried yet. If you're between ordering from two different sellers, I'd choose this one just for the surprise cosmetic samples...
