Revising my review from 3 to 1 star. Purchased in May. It’s now Oct, and the material has started peeling off the outside. Had to throw it out. Only 5 months of use, that’s wild. —— I purchased this to use with a hose I already owned. I was looking for a simple attachment that would get the job done. Despite some mixed reviews, this seemed like the best option available. The standard nozzle works well and seems durable so far, as long as it is kept clean. My main complaint is about the area where the nozzle head connects to the base. That connection point is slightly rigid. It is not enough to cause safety concerns, but for a product used in this way, comfort matters, and the rigidity is noticeable. I do not see a strong reason for the interchangeable nozzles. A single, smooth piece of metal would likely perform better and feel more comfortable. It would also be easier to clean and maintain with a proper brush. The product functions as intended, but the modular nozzle design adds unnecessary complexity and slightly compromises comfort.

Just knowing I purchased this is TMI, but you are here so you must want to learn something. After a medical procedure the medication I was on caused painful constipation. I tried everything I could think of short of the full pre-colonoscopy cleanse. My system couldn't handle that in addition to what it was already going through. Enter the shower enema kit. **Please remember to clean the wand before and after each use.** 1) If you have a shower with a handheld shower head attachment, you can unscrew the existing handheld shower head and replace it with the wand. 2) Run water to the proper temperature before using the enema wand. 3) Experiment with the water control knob(s) with the enema wand attached BEFORE inserting it into your body in order to get a better sense of what settings will result in a safe, steady water pressure. Work upwards from the lowest possible pressure to the least necessary to get the job done. The goal here is not to pressure wash your intestines. You are adding water to soften and loosen hard, sticky poo. Too much pressure can result in a very unpleasant trip to the hospital. Once you are comfortable with the settings and temperature, use the wand. You may want a little personal lubricant or vasilene to help it enter easily. 4) So gross! Bring a bucket into the shower with you. When things get moving, they really get moving! You may not have time to exit the shower and dry off before reaching the toilet. If you use the bucket, dump the contents in the toilet and flush away. 5) Clean everything after. NO EXCEPTIONS! This is the 2nd most important step after not pressure washing your intestines!! a) Unscrew wand from hose & place in dirty bucket. Set both aside in the shower. b) Reinstall shower head c) Wash your body with soap. then rinse/ dry off (and get dressed). d) Wash bucket inside and out with hot soapy water in shower area e) Wash wand in even hotter, soapier water in the clean bucket f) Dry and sput away wand g) Wash bucket again in hot soapy water then dry and put away h) Wash entire shower with disinfecting cleaner & spray it down with the handheld shower attachment. It seems like a lot, but I promise you that the relief is real. Lastly, I cannot stress enough the importance of cleaning everything involved in this process afterwords.

Ho provato il prodotto con estrema facilità, usando la testina più grande, che non è risultata per nulla fastidioso o doloroso, nell'inserimento all'interno, superando senza problemi la zona anale, facendolo entrare almeno la metà della sua lunghezza, Ma anche le altre testine sono altrettanto valide, ma ho preferito la più grande, in quanto il flusso di acqua è meglio distribuito all'interno, evitando un getto troppo direzionale. Una piacevole sorpresa, è stata quella di scoprire che l'interno del gambo principale dell'articolo, è sufficientemente ampio, per l'introduzione di alcune scaglie di sapone di marsiglia o di aleppo (per chi lo desidera). Queste scaglie portano un duplice vantaggio; 1) evita un eccessivo assorbimento di acqua da parte dell'intestino, facendo in modo che ad assorbire l'acqua siano le feci; 2) agevola notevolmente il distacco di parti fecali dalle pareti intestinali, ottenendo benefici da una pulizia più efficace. Lavarlo bene dopo l'uso, con acqua calda e sapone e, poi lasciandolo asciugare, prima di riporlo nel comodo sacchetto in velluto incluso nella confezione. Quest'ultimo ideale per portarlo con se in borsa o in una tasca, quando si è fuori in viaggio.. Utilissimo l'utensile in dotazione, per la pulizia soprattutto dell'interno del prodotto. Sottolineo che questo articolo non provoca alcun dolore nell'inserimento nel retto, consiglio di bagnare la zona anale con del sapone liquido, che ne facilita l'inserimento, in alternativa prodotti lubrificanti a base di acqua. Per il lavaggio vaginale è altrettanto semplice l'uso e anche qui naturalmente nessun fastidio. Una precauzione da adottare è quella di dosare la pressione dell'acqua, aprendo prima il ribinetto, trovare la pressione e la temperatura desiderata, prima del suo inserimento. ottenendo un lavaggio intimo, salutare ed economico. Conclusione: questo articolo si rivela un prodotto che consiglio a tutti, per il proprio benessere.
