We got these to help our two dogs (and us 😉) avoid slipping up and down our wooden stairs, and they work perfectly. The strips add just the right amount of grip without taking away from the clean wood look we love. They were easy to apply, stay in place, and are barely noticeable once down. I really appreciate that they’re clear, because they don’t make the stairs look cluttered or covered up. So far they’ve held up great—even with plenty of paw traffic—and they give us peace of mind knowing the stairs are much safer for pets, kids, and adults. Definitely recommend if you want safety without sacrificing style!

Bought these to try out on one staircase of slippery oak stair treads in our new home. The strips are just the right size and are easy to install with the included roller. The material is a nice thickness that allows for a good texture that provides grip for safely going up and down the stairs in bare feet, stocking feet, or shoes. They come clean with a broom and I suspect that if something were spilled on them, a paper towel with a little spray cleaner would do the job just fine. We've been using the staircase with them on it for a few days and I am now ordering another set so I can apply them to the other staircase.

Just what we needed. Easy to apply with the included roller. Provides much needed grip on our LVP stairs. And looks good as well!

These were easy to install expensive. They looked clear and good immediately after installing however as soon as it gets wet adhesive starts to go away and it shows up as more of a white plastic. Since we live in Florida it’s not ideal for the rainy season, however they are still on the stairs about four months later. They are also so inexpensive that it wouldn’t be hard to pull them up and install new ones every few months

Wood steps are beautiful but a recipe for disaster. Sure enough, slipped and broke my arm. As painful as the accident was, ruining my stairs with ugly treads would have been worse. Here's the great news, this product works. Went on very easily and they included a handy roller to make sure you get the bubbles out. It's been on for almost 8 months without an issue. No peeling, no wearing, no worries. Cleans perfect and you absolutely can't see the treads unless you look hard. Just enough friction to keep you from slipping without the feeling that's something is on the step. Very happy!

We have tried many solutions including rubber backed floor mats at the top and bottom of our stairs for our older dog. Unfortunately the puppy decided to eat those little area rugs. I opted to try this product because it was clear and barely noticeable and offered some traction. I put three treads at the bottom of the stairs on ceramic tile and two treads at the top on a faux wood finish. You can barely see the picture which is great but they are definitely there. So far it’s helped our older dog get a little extra grip going up and down the stair the top and bottom stair is always a challenge. I will update this review when and if the treads where outs or are replaced. There are quite a few in the box. Easy to apply. Came with a roller. Installation took maybe two minutes. Peel the back of the tread slowly placed it onto the floor surface it came with a stiff card Which I just pressed and dragged along the trade and then I use the roller to make sure it was in place.

They have a great stickiness, super easy to apply, and clean. But, I don’t feel the grip, it feels slippery like before

I got these for a set of spiral stairs that my dog has slipped down. I trimmed them to fit the length of the stairs and put them down. They work as promised and were easy to put down. I have not tested the removability.
