Great Set at a Great Price
Exceptionally clear picture and sound. This is my first "smart" tv so some things I do are hit-or-miss, but most things are reasonably intuitive. Thus far, I haven't done anything that I couldn't back out of or undo. It comes with a quick set-up guide - which is very good for a quick set-up - but, otherwise, there aren't any written materials. Once the set is turned on, the automatic step-by-step set-up/configuration is pretty easy to follow. A user guide is available on line but be aware that it's 254 pages. There are certain things I'd like to do - e.g., rename the HDMI ports - but I have yet to find a way and I don't have the time to go through 5 pages of the Table of Contents. Very glad that it has a digital optical audio output, as it made it simple to connect to my ancient, 5.1 home theater system. It's also equipped with several HDMI ports so I can connect all of my equipment. All in all, it's a great set and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Easy to set up! Well packed to prevent damage.
The 75 inch TV arrived on schedule and was easy to set up on the legs. I would strongly urge reading the unpacking instructions provided on the outside of the box, makes life so much more simple. You're going to need at least 3 people to unpack and set up. I used the legs that came with the tv but may mount on the wall in the future. You're going to need two people to hold the tv (it's pretty heavy) and the third will need to slide the legs into the slots on the back. I hadn't realized that there are little white clips in the leg that, when extended, raise the tv up about 2 inches higher (for extra clearance, like the sound bar I bought to go with it). One clip in the legs was up and the other was down and it took a few tries to figure out why my tv was sitting at an angle, but after a quick second glance at the instructions I realized my error and fixed it. You will have to apply some blunt force to the legs to get them all the way in to the slots. This tv has a ton of features, I would suggest looking up videos and articles to figure them all out. I am a former ROKU user so I was hesitant and went ahead and bought a ROKU ultra to plug into this, but after getting used to the layout and navigation of this tv I'll likely be returning the ROKU. This has all the main streaming channels I used to watch on my ROKU, I just had to get used to the new layout. Picture is very nice, I'm no expert but for the price, you're going to get an amazing picture (I did have to lower the brightness from 50 to 25, not sure if that's the default but it was a bit too bright at first). The rechargeable remote (same as charging a phone) is great, even has a small solar panel on the back to recharge when you aren't using it (though you'll have to put the remote face down). The remote has a mic on it and once I installed Alexa on it it works like a charm. I just tell the remote what I want to watch and BAM!, it goes right to it! Worth the money, worth the time, very happy customer.

PS5 Issues ; EDIT: RESOLVED
Edit/update: Not too long after posting the review, there was a software update that seemed to have fixed the issue entirely. Haven't had an issues for over a month now. With that considered, everything is great! The TV itself is great, except for the fact that they removed the "Ambient Mode" for this model for whatever reason. The colors are good, the audio is great, easy to set up, etc. However, if you plan to use it for a PS5, I'd highly recommend a different TV. I first bought the TV from Amazon and it worked fine for about 3 weeks, until one day I switched to the PS5 and noticed the brightness was lower the colors weren't nearly as vibrant or contrasting (almost like there's a "grey filter" over the screen), and most importantly there's a slight flickering/pulsing effect noticeable on images on-screen. Switching back to the YouTube and Netflix app on the TV itself, everything was normal and working fine, but for some reason the PS5 had these issues. I swapped HDMI cables - no luck. I plugged in the PS5 to my monitor and it worked just fine. Then I turned off "Game Mode" and that seemed to at least fix the flickering/pulsing issue, and the brightness/lack of contrast was only slightly resolved; it should be noted that without "Game Mode" your controller inputs are now delayed noticeably. I returned the TV assuming that I might have just received a bad unit, however upon the purchase of a new one from Best Buy, I ran into the issues not even a week later. A factory reset fixed this issue, but of course that entails going through the whole setup process again and having to sign in to all of your accounts for whichever services you use. TLDR: As a basic TV for watching shows and using apps, it works great. However, if you plan to use this TV for a PS5 (maybe even an Xbox), don't; it will randomly sprout noticeable visual issues that can only be resolved through a factory-reset.

Great tv
Wanted a bigger tv, so bought this one. Biggest tv I ever had. The picture is absolutely great. Had it shipped to my door and it arrived in perfect condition. I don’t have it mounted on the wall, I just put the feet on the bottom and have it setting on a table. Easy enough to slide the feet in and set up. Connecting all the apps I want on it was pretty easy also. Most of them have a pop up bar code that you scan with your phone and set up quickly. I really liked that. The cost was very good and I wanted to buy it before any kind of tariffs were set on tv’s. The tv itself has many options of shows to watch, even if you don’t have a tv provider. Very nice to have Alexa built in to the tv. I’m able to connect my cameras to it and just ask Alexa to see the front porch, or whatever camera I want to see and it pops up on the tv. That’s pretty cool. The remote works quickly and doesn’t lag after you push a button and it’s easy to get used to. First remote I’ve had that charges from a cable and has solar / light charging capabilities. No more batteries.Over all, I’m really happy with this tv and recommend this tv highly.

It’s more TV than what I need, but I like it.
I’m upgrading from a 2019 Philips 65” 4K TV. Only because the Philips wouldn’t restart after a power surge. Every other thing did. (Yes I do use surge protectors) This Samsung is the first TV I’ve bought since 2020. I didn’t realize the advances in technology and looks. It’s also the first Samsung I’ve owned, ever. I’ve only had it for about 36 hours as of now, but it’s becoming more easy to use and navigate the menu. I’m not completely familiar with it yet, though. The only complaint I have, and this may sound crazy to some, is that the picture may be TOO CLEAR. It has what is described in some YouTube videos as the “soap opera effect”. Watching some movies on Dish Network and BluRay, it seems as if the viewer is watching the characters live instead of in a movie. The picture can be adjusted to different settings, to reduce this effect, that are more to the viewer’s preference. And there are many “micro adjustments” that can be made, appropriately enough called “expert settings”. I’m no expert though. I don’t regret the purchase at all. But, if I’d watched those videos before buying, I might have chosen to buy another model Samsung. Or maybe even a different brand. Mostly because I learned that Samsung doesn’t support Dolby Vision or Sound. I have my 7.1 surround system for sound anyway, so that’s not a problem for me. Anyone who is dependent on the TVs sound capability, should be aware of the fact that Samsung and Dolby Vision don’t play together. I’ll get used to this new TV soon. But I should have done more research before buying it. I guess 5 years is a very long time to jump in TV technology nowadays. One more thing about Samsung that surprised me is that they don’t supply the mounting screws for their TVs. I had to order some separately from Amazon. The ones I found are the right thread size, but (when using included spacers) are at least 1/4” too long, maybe 5/16”. I learned elsewhere that the recommended thread depth is 11-13mm. A person can either use more spacers or cut them off at the right thread length. This is a positive review. I know that I bought a great TV at a good price (approx. $640). I’m just going to have to get used to all the new technology it has. And the super clear picture will take me time to get used to for sure. Even though my 2019 Philips was a 4K TV as well, it was nowhere near as clear as this 2024 Samsung.

WON'T LOAD AUDIBLE APP!!!! wont even auto connect HDMI !!!!!
I'd give it a negative rating but I can't unfortunately. TOTAL JUNK, you must have a Samsung account to use the smart features and you are restricted to the apps you can use. NOWHERE in the product description does say it is not compatible with Audible, but you can't download the app. I am so disgusted with Samsung I am also going to return the new A35 phone I just bought and get ANYTHING else but a Samsung. And I just tried to connect a laptop with an HDMI cable.........HUGE process...can't screen mirror can't connect HDMI UNLESS you do a bunch an extra steps......HELLO SAMSUNG!!!!!HDMI is SUPPOSED to be PLUG AND PLAY.........JUST for you samsung morons plug and play means you plug it in and it should auto connect NOT have to do a bunch of extra crap.....plug it in to a cheap VIZIO tv and POOF a picture appears......plug in to the samsung junk and .....well .......nothing.........HAD IT with Samsung.....tv going back today and I will by a SONY...........or even another VIZIO but I will NEVER NEVER purchase another samsung piece of junk ever. And a further update as I missed the return date I ended up keeping the junk for now and now it’s not staying at the same volume in the same show and not in a commercial, still wondering how smart stuff is that has continual volume difference in the same channel, but that is a bigger question that is answered by those brilliant software engineers who don’t really have an actual answer……I don’t care what the upload volume is.,…… I am not listening to the upload and if you are processing it to play but can’t regulate the audio volume output you really need to be doing something else less involved………not to mention that you ask me the SAME question about the show I keep binging and I ALWAYS answer yes, I AM still watching this…….. that is actually the opposite of SMART, when you ask the same question over and over and keep getting the same answer and then keep on asking……. Well, that’s NOT what smart means, in fact I would have to go as far as to say it’s STUPID……. Sigh, I can rail against Samsung for hours on end but I would just do yourself a favor and buy LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT A SHAMSUNG…….. I wonder if this will be posted or if the censorship council will take exception ….. I have found truth to be a bit more than most companies want to hear about the junk they produce….

Great Value for price Samsung 55” TV crystal 4k
Big and beautiful , I got this on sale! The quality is top notch. Samsung does TV’s so well! This was under $400. I don’t have a soundbar but it sounds great! My niece and nephew have plugged in their game systems with ease! They were gaming for hours. Value for money yes. I had Amazon install, they did it quickly efficiently and I asked them to keep the box. I’ve had this for 6 months extremely happy!
