great dog-walking boots
i was a bit dubious given their cheapness [around £6 per boot] but i thought i`d give them a go as the rather more expensive pair i bought didn`t last long before one of them split.so, i thought, i`ll just get some cheapos and if they crap out i won`t have lost much..anyway, these fit my narrow feet to a tee and are very comfortable.the `horseshoe` heel really bites into the mud and combined with the deep tread gives great traction and sure-footedness. the description mentions work boots, but you wouldn`t wear these on a building site- they`ll be fine for gardening and, obviously, a bit of yomping mit hund.they are quite light, and are easy to get on and off, and having survived my destruction test fully deserve 5*****.if this changes i`ll update and let you know, but for now- great stuff!Update: three months later and still going strong.

Brilliant wellies - my second pair of these in 7 years
I bought a pair of these wide-calfed Dunlop wellingtons about 7 years ago, and they have been awesome. In mud and sea and rivers and all kinds of things I won't go into here (we have a dog, we get everywhere!), they've been my faithful companions. Last week, the well-worn soles finally gave way and split, letting some cold water in and soaking my toes. Before the night was out we were online purchasing their replacement. The only difference is the colour of the soles - my previous ones were cream, these are black. They're just as comfortable and roomy, having space for thick socks and wrapped trouser legs. I did a couple of miles in them on the first night they arrived, and they were as comfortable as the ones I'd had for years, really keeping my feet toasty and dry.At an average cost of not much more than 50p a year, I can't imagine a better value purchase in anything, and I can't recommend them any more highly. They're both comfortable and resilient, so the review can be summarised in five words:Simple - just get a pair! This review was written by my husband, Paul Burke, who loves his new dunlop wellies!

Misleading information & poor customer service
Four stars for the reasonable price and good construction. Plus, I have wider feet so the unisex fit is great.Minus three stars for unclear sizing information plus terrible customer service. Despite clearly advertising free returns (and shoes should have free returns, anyway), Dunlop expects me to pay return postage. Plus, they will send a print-out shipping label despite my choosing Pass My Parcel as a return option. I don't have a printer, so I can't print a label. As much as I like these wellies, I won't be buying them again.

Good wellies for a bargain price
I always buy Dunlop wellies. They may not be the fashion wellies look but they are comfortable and durable.I already have full length green ones (for 3 years now) but wanted shorter ones also.Thses fit as expected. I normally take a size 6 and although Dunlop tend to be fairly wide on the foot it makes room for thicker socks. These dont feel quite as wide but maybe because they are new. Certainly an excellent fit if you have wider feet or like chunky socks. The top of the leg part is quite wide. I've had half wellies before that seemed to rub the calves slightly but these are too wide to do that. You cant really feel them at all.Being so wide I'm not sure if rain would run into them from your trousers. They are not stiff and stick out so maybe not.I'm not sure why half wellies are more expensive than full wellies. £13 isnt much for years of wear though is it.You can certainly tell that these are well made and quality material. I would expect them to last me a long long time even though I seem to wear wellies most of the year dog walking and gardening.A good investment at relatively low cost.

Good value for walkies etc.
No real issues. Your shin might need some added protection. While mine fit, I wish I had ordered at least one more size so extra socks are easier to use. Size 9 fits like a size 9 shoe. Could be wider also. They are not fashion boots. My shins are damaged and this is where the boots stop. Hopefully the boots will stretch because they are a bit hard to get on and off but, as I say, fit well once on, like same size shoe. The price point cannot be criticised for what you get. Watch the so called work socks are correct. Mine are not much thicker than normal socks and are NOT long enough. People who say boots are "too big" should not be ordering Wellies. As a consequence of above, I'd say that there is not enough foot support or cushion from the soles i.e. I can get sore feet. The styling means these narrow at the ankle area: good to keep them on but bad when trying to got on/off if you purchase your usual size.

Good lightweight wellies
Okay, these are shorter calf length boots, exactly what I wanted, use very regularly in the garden.Sizing: I am normally a size 8, after reading the reviews I was confused, so I gambled and bought a size 7, perfect for me! They are snug, but that’s exactly how I like them.Comfort: I fitted decent insoles, the boots are very comfortable.Durability: unsure, only had them a few weeks, but at the price if I get a year I’ll be happy, if I get 2 years even better! I have no reason to doubt the durability, but they are not the most expensive wellies out there?Overall I definitely recommend, if you like to feel the boots around your feet go a size smaller than your normal shoe size, if you like them a bit sloppy go normal shoe size, if you like blister’s and frustration go a size bigger.Great product!
