This arrives in a a beautiful gift type box, the oil is in a glass bottle, there is a pipette and some ribbon also in the box. As a qualified aromatherapist of over 25 years, I have used mango butter many times in the past, but never mango seed oil. The first thing I will say is the smell is strong. At first it reminded of walking into a hairdressers where perms are being done, yes, to my nose it is that strong, I will say my nose is highly sensitive, I have much trouble with perfumes, sprays, candles, and fake smells, as they cause a massive irritation to my nose and I constantly sneeze until I can remove myself from the nuisance. Anyway, back to the 30ml bottle of mango seed oil, the packing date on the label is 06/2024 and expiry date is 05/2026. To my nose the smell is too strong for me to state any one smell is predominant, I wonder how this was extracted ? In my opinion the smell is too stringent, too rancid for me to use in a diffuser, and I’m unsure if I would use it in balms and creams. I always suggest doing your own due diligence with research before using, as it does have precautions listed .

I love the smell of mango seed oil and have used it in the past on my skin with good results. I have used this oil in my oil burner and on my face and hands where it does a great job moisturising and leaving my skin nice and smooth and soft. This oil is more suitable to be in a jar than a bottle due to it's semi solid state. I have transferred mine into jar by means of warming it enough to get it out into my jar. Good price but I suggest a change from a bottle to a jar so it can be used easily.

This oil came very well presented in a box with description, uses, storage instructions etc. The oil itself was in a darkened glass bottle nestled securely in the box with a separate dropper. The top needed to be taken off the bottle and the plastic cap removed to be able to insert the dropper. I was shocked that there was a lot of what looked like mango pulp at the neck of the bottle, and it is difficult to obtain actual liquid oil. The substance that you do get is yellowy in colour and does moisturise the skin well and has a pleasant aroma of mango, but it is not the type of substance that you can dispense with a dropper, easily. I needed to shake-up the contents in the bottle vigorously to be able to get any ‘liquid’ into the dropper.

This organic mango seed oil smells amazing but is difficult and messy using the dropper. The texture is more like a paste than an oil. This product would be much better if it came in a tube, this would make it easier and less messy to use. I shall be using a cotton bud to extract it from the bottle.

This mango seed oil has, in my opinion, a really lovely tropical fruity scent. It's readily absorbed and leaves my skin feeling soft and well nourished. It has a semi-solid consistency so the use of a bottle with a dropper is not ideal - if you warm it up, it gets more runny but doesn't seem to turn liquid, so perhaps would have been better supplied in a pot. That aside, I think the product itself is really nice.
