Snuggle Kittie, Grey Tiger

I bought this item for my four-week old kitten thinking it would be nice for her to have a "mother" when she was sleeping since she was too young to sleep in my bed. I put it in her little bed, and while she would sleep next to it sometimes, it was more because it was in her spot than that she was actually comforted by it. Overall, she didn't really care for it. But she's a pretty independent, tough cookie, so for kittens who are a bit more needy it might be good. I still use it as a toy to play wrestle with her, but I could have done that with much cheaper toys too.

The stuffed kitty works like described and how most others describe in reviews. The heart is loud but I found its perfect if you just wrap it in a small washcloth. The battery lasted forever when used for overnight only. The heat pads stay nice & toasty 24 hrs but I just wish the product came with more or were cheaper to buy more. I switched to 2 handwarmers each night but they did not even compare with 2. The kitten never cried the 2 weeks he slept by himself while the others were getting to know him so I'd say it worked. It made me feel better putting him to bed too:)

He was afraid of the beating heart. He was probably too young for it. Now it's just sitting there and collecting dust. It just didn't work for my kitten.

We got our kitten at five weeks old, earlier than most vets would recommend separating them from their mothers, so I got this to help ease the transition. He's now two months old and he still loves it. When he's not cuddling it, he's playing with it and attacking it like it's another kitten.

Favorite stuffed toy- slept thought the night 1st night on! and in the day takes it out of crate to play with. Every dog deserves one of these! My all black mini schnauzer has the striped kitty.

Great for a larger animal or new puppy, but not so great for kittens to use as a surrogate mom.I wish you could heat up the whole animal, not just a pack in the stomach area.

When I fostered a litter of 3-week old kittens, I bought them this toy. They loved it, snuggled up to it, and comfort-nursed on it. I ended up adopting one of the kittens from the litter, and now 3 years later, he still nurses on the toy. I have to buy another one because he has worn it out.

My kitty is not into now but I think as he gets older he may enjoy it. Nice for new born kitties.

I didn't get any heat pads had to order them separate. Otherwise the pet, heart and batteries are great.
