I recently picked up the Party Size 24.95 oz of Oreo Lemon Creme Sandwich Cookies, and they’re absolutely delightful. The lemon creme is tangy without being sour, offering a fresh contrast to the familiar chocolate wafers. It’s like a mini burst of sunshine in every bite. The cookie texture is still that satisfying Oreo crunch, and the lemon filling has a smooth creaminess that isn’t too sweet—it strikes a perfect balance. These cookies don’t get stale quickly, which is a bonus when you’re snacking over a few days or sharing them with friends during a get-together. One thing to note: the bright lemon flavor might surprise those used to the standard creme, so it’s definitely geared toward citrus lovers. But for anyone who enjoys a refreshing twist, this flavor hits the spot. Overall, this lemon creme variant is a fun and delicious take on the classic cookie—great for parties, snacks, or whenever you want something a little zippier than the usual.

Docked a star as when I bought them, they cost $5.19 and I saw them about a dollar cheaper in the grocery store a few days later but didn’t want the hassle of returning them for a few cents. Now I see they are priced on Amazon for closer to the grocery store price. Cost aside, people LOVED these at our two lemon themed parties this weekend and that was with there also being two kinds of lemon meringue pie that were both finished off, fresh baked lemon scones, delicious little lemon cupcakes, lots of lemon cakes (one would have been plenty as it turned out), a lemon birthday cake, real lemon Italian ice, and two kinds of lemon candy plus another kind of lemon cookie. I really didn’t anticipate people devouring these Oreos like they did. The lemon cookies I got from a boutique store also got finished off but for one little cookie. We had around 40 people and one box was just right, though. Oh, and these were handy to have out early as one guest was diabetic and asked if he could have one at the start of the party as he was feeling light-headed. Nite how many were eaten before the lemon meringue pies even were started.

These were a disappointment. I was hoping for the all-lemon (cookie and creme) sandwich cookies I loved years ago. These have just the faintest aftertaste of lemon in the cookie part, and the standard Oreo white sugar "stuff" in the middle. If it hadn't been for the lemon on the label, I'd have thought they were the golden version. They did arrive fresh and unbroken, but were otherwise just sweet nothings.

This flavour is not available in Singapore so we have to order it from here. Delish lemon cookie!

The cream tastes artificial and overloaded with sugar. There’s no lemon taste, only chemical flavours. The biscuit is the only edible part.
