I drive a 2010 Lexus RX 350. It's an AWD SUV. Both the rear differential and the transfer case require the 75W-85, GL-5 gear oil for lubrication. I change the fluids in these two gears at the same time at each sitting as part of my DIY maintenance. I bought this Triax DTF-2, 75W-85 fluid based on good reviews, low price, and attractive-looking packaging. I figured if the company put in a good deal of effort to make their product look good for consumers, they should also be good at making products that are of high grade and good quality. That was why I bought 3 quarts of these. I replaced the old fluids with them in March 2025. Today is July 25, 2025. The car has been driven for exactly 3,000 miles. And I found that both my transfer case and rear differential are holding up well. I would buy more of these fluids in my future oil changes. Thanks to Triax for offering high-quality and reasonably priced gear oils.

excellent choice for high end vehicles. I have a 2011 Lexus GX460 and it is recommended for that line of vehicles. the odd thing is the color, instead of green/brown gear oil color this synthetic gear oil is lite blue.

So far, I haven’t had any problems. I like the blue color. I call it Smurf oil. My wife says you’re stupid. I say what do you expect? I’m 64. I think it’s funny.

Works as advertised, a bit pricey but all oil has gotten high priced .

High quality gear oil. Meets all the requirements for my 2014 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins front and rear differential.
