Got my boys these for back to school as we were burning through Chrome Books and I was tired of them constantly breaking. Any cool feature on an HP or otherwise would stop working in 6 months. By the time we were about to order our THIRD Chromebook in as many years, I realized I just needed to invest in something that would last. Got these MacBook Airs for a great price. My boys LOVE the larger 15" screens. I mean - I don't want to work on a tiny screen either! They love them so much and are so careful with them as they value all their Apple products. Hopefully these will last us more than a few years. I know my MacBook is on year 4 and still works like brand new!

Upgraded to this from and Intel i5 MacBook Pro. This unit is fast, has great battery life and is a perfect traveling unit. Screen size is ideal for watching videos or streaming. Compared to my macbook pro (and the current models), this is a nice unit that should keep well beyond normal upgrade lifecyle, given its features and flexibility. Note: I am not a power user. Would highly recommend if you're in this price range.

Bought this to replace a 17 plus year old ThinkPad. Still had some life left, but I refused to update Windows 7. Had wanted a MacBook Pro but couldn’t justify the price. I’m an accountant and don’t need that much. This was on sale just over $1K. Hard to pass up. I was worried about quality for that price vs Pro. Those worries were for naught. This is a fine machine. Solid and fast. Looks much better in person. Really like it and the Midnight color.

Apple Computers are not set up for mature users. They are loaded with games and useless "applications". The Computer itself minus "Guitar Hero" and other useless junk is a very efficient machine. I am actualy gradually figuring out how to keep the crapware out of my way.

What can you say nothing works quite like a mac, great battery life and ease of use as with all Apple products. I used to transfer tools and all my user accounts moved to new Mac AIR and I am happ happy client of Apple and Amazon
