I had a few issues with the mechanism which keeps the front light tight (as per a few other reviews) and the light was slipping.I returned the item and was given a replacement set with an updated product design. After a week of testing, the front light is secure and staying where it should.The lights themselves are superb. Really bright and vivid light. The USB charging is very simple and convenient too. Would recommend these to others.

Great little set. Both very bright and well built. 4 stars since there are too mildly annoying things:1) The auto adjust mode on the front lamp is too sensitive. So for example will switch off the light when you go under a street lamp. Its a nice idea - but poorly executed, and anyway for city cycling I just keep it on full !2) The rear and front are switched off in different ways. Holding front one down for a long time and cycling through the modes on the back one. This is minor - but when you come home tired and its raining and you just want to switch your lights off and don't remember which way each works... It would easy for them to fix that !Still - I would buy again (and have bought 2 pairs already)

Good quality items all in all... delivered swiftly too.I tested the front light against my existing bright (and more expensive) front light and this one beats it! My original light has a sort of 'spot' shaped beam that lights up ahead in total darkness almost like a car headlamp! This one is brighter and wider beam so those dark paths/roads will be no problem so really impressed so far.I tested the rear against my existing COB (chip on board) rear light and this one is of a similar brightness, but this one creates a nice red glow around its transparent body, making it potentially more visible at all angles. I wouldn't want it dropping off behind me! Not a problem methinks as you get a bag of them, and they appear very robust anyway.Be careful with the quick release for the front light. As it's unique to the light (aren't they always?) if you break it it's probably game over (unless the manufacturer can supply replacements?)Not sure how long a charge lasts, but only time will tell. Easy to fit , easy to remove when going to the gym , very bright and lightweight , rear light is especially bright you won’t be missed with these lights . I use them two hour per day and just simply plug them in in the evenings you don’t have to charge them every day but I like to leave home on a full charge . The bad thing about this light is the front light connection to the bar is a flimsy unit I have found that the light sometimes moves position when riding if my hand accidentally touches it when doing a hand signal however it’s really is such a minor thing you just turn it in place .The light will never fall off the bike it’s fixed quite securely it’s only the base unit that attaches the light is a bit plasticIf your looking for a cheap good light to commute two hours easily remove and attach I mean less that 30 seconds for both lights this is the oneIf you like the solid feel of your lights with a little alloy weight this light is not the one

The front light is small and looks smart on the bike, the plastic has a quality finish to it and is only let down by thr cheaper plastic bracket. The light is very bright and can be dipped for the city. Dual orange 'side lights' is also a nice low energy mode for daytime use. For me the 'automatic' mode is more of a gimmick; it's reactive to ambient light but does not come until dark, not at dusk when I'd normally switch on but maybe useful in the day if you're riding through tunnels? The rear light is superb, small and looks slick and aerodynamic on the seat post, very bright and visible from the side with options to dim or flash. I charge these once a week via USB and they never run out of charge. Fantastic value for the price, I've spent more on inferior front lights alone.

Good set of lights, definitely recommend. Neat, small and functional. Powerful beam from front light covers a wide area, particularly important when you ride in areas with very poorer levels of lighting (eg cycle path through a park) as I do on a daily basis. The Adaptive mode on the front light (which is optional) means that the brightness of the light varies as you move from lighter to darker areas. It felt a bit odd at first, but I've got used to it now. Access to port for charging can be a bit fiddly on both lights, but that's really the only issue I've had.Very impressed with customer service. Copy of user info emailed automatically in addition to leaflet supplied with product. Packaging of lights also good and easy to open: no horrid sealed plastic that needs cutting open with great care to access.
