I actually got these to make a bee waterer, since I was concerned about foraged rocks picking up dirt and other things bees shouldn’t drink. Glass marbles are much easier to clean. The 60 pack was actually the perfect number of marbles to fill a small bee water/bird feeder I have for this purpose. The colors are pretty and should be attractive to the bees, and the colors aren’t so dark that they’ll absorb heat and make the water too hot to drink. Now the bees won’t need to attempt to drink from the smelly and fast-flowing creek behind our home. BTW, I encourage everyone to make a bee waterer—all you need is a birdfeeder with a solid water bowl and some marbles. Thanks for helping out with that!

They are nice, but I wish they were a bit larger.I should have looked at a ruler!

So we needed marbles for art and engineering experiments. These fit the bill, they were a big hit with our marble runs and traps. Very happy with them!
