Handheld RFID Writer 125KHz Proximity ID and AWID andHID Duplicator +5 White Cards + 5 Writable Key Fobs

Id buy again if needed and recommend. Scan all over the card if it's not reading, the same for when writing, if it doesn't work keep trying slightly different spots, it will work, it's just very specific. When I got this I tried for a few minutes clicking all over my hid card and couldnt get it to work, I thought, oh well only wasted ten dollars. I put my card back in the wallet and scanned my wallet just for fun, it scanned. I took the are back out and I couldn't get it to scan! I checked all cards in my wallet and none were something that could scan. I put it back in my wallet and it scanned again. I read the reviews that said it was hard to get the right spot. I took the card back out and scanned it from about an eighth inch away, all over, eventually it read! Once you find the spot it reads fine from touching or slightly away from the card.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm amazed by this little device. It may look like a cheap plastic toy from a dollar store but trust me it really works. I copied my HID access card to 3 key fobs in less than 5 minutes and that includes putting the batteries in. Those who say it doesn't work must have an unsupported card or they are not copying it correctly. Press the card against the device while reading until you hear a beep then do the same to write to a key fob. It's really simple. Look up some videos if you have to.

I was disappointed as strangely enough, the Cards and Fobs worked but not read /write device. I had an another device just like the one I ordered here and it worked on the fobs and cards but the device that came with cards and Fobs did not work. It was fortunate I had another read/write device.

This is for the "Handheld RFID Writer 125KHz Proximity ID and AWID and HID Duplicator." I was super skeptical about this, especially after reading some of the reviews, but I tried anyway. I needed it to clone an access control key fob so I could have a spare in my car. I made another for good measure too. It worked super quick and easy. That's kind of disturbing, but I'm glad it worked.

I absolutely loved this product! From the moment I started using it, I could tell it was high quality and thoughtfully made. It works exactly as described and even exceeded my expectations. The design is great, it’s easy to use, and it delivers fantastic results. I’m genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it.

Its really finnicky to get it to read or write. I tried about 100 times and managed to get a working key fob. You have to find the specific position on the source and target keyfobs. Seems like a bit of luck is required too.

It works after it didn’t initially read some and write at all: 1. I used rechargeable AAA batteries, make sure they are fully charged. Even with medium amount, might be needing more voltage to support for my current or something 2. I had to point my fobs specifically in the lower corner of the device scan side not in the middle. I am not sure if it’s my keys or my device RFID reader but once I made contact to that device’s corner with my fobs (same happened with provided fobs in the box, so guessing more of device) , it is able to read and write

I bought this device to copy my key fob for my apartment complex because they wanted 75$ for an extra key fob. This device worked well and was easy to use . I suggest looking at the instructions before using to know how to use it . I didnt have a problem with copying the fob to one of the hid cards provided and I’m able to get in and out of my gate along the walkway without the original fob no problem. It’s works and was less expensive that other items I was thinking about purchasing.

It does not work - as simple as that. Hours of wasted time trying to make it work. DO NOT BUY, it does not read an actively used 125kHz chip. Additional, the reader was sent the wrong fobs with it that can as per their item description (with picture) not being used. This is my 3rd attempt to write a honest review to this cheap article, the 2 before were refused.

I'm giving this 5 stars so people know that it does work. Eventually. The fobs and cards that come with the reader ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE READER. They will not work. I have no idea what they were thinking shipping incompatible tags, but they did. This will cause you to think the reader/writer just doesn't work. It does. With the right tags. I used the reader with these tags: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CN6KQSGX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and it worked perfectly. All 10 of the tags that I programmed work perfectly on my buildidng. Hope this helps someone.

This duplicator is completely useless. It does not work at all. I tried multiple times with different chips, but it never managed to read even a single one. The instructions are not helpful, and the device feels cheaply made. Total waste of money and time. Save yourself the frustration and do not buy this product.

Crap product doesn't write to cards or even scan awid fobs like the description says seems like product is just lights with no functionality. They expect you to pay for return which will cost what the price was so not good service appears to be a scam. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!
