The first time purchase was because I needed a watch with an aesthetic that was more formal than my Garmin-Vivoactive, but one that wouldn't break the bank. There were a lot of watches sold on Amazon whose quality was questionable. So after doing a bit of research -and using fakespot and reviewmeta- I settled on the all black Vigor Rigor with a genuine leather band.I had it for about a year and usually kept it in my car's glove box so I could quickly put it on and off when I wanted to look more polished. The watch didn't seem to have any issues surviving the heat and cold fluctuations (-5F up to 105F throughout the year). It was also one of 3 items stolen from my car last December when it was broken into. (My favorite Urban Khaki coat, my watch and a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts) So I ended up buying a new watch in March of this year.The only complaint that I can think of is that the band quality that comes with the watch is run of the mill genuine leather. Which is pretty much universal at this price point.
