The shoe kit is very nice. Has all the shoe polish you need, nice brushes, nice travel bag, shoe horn and extra shoe laces just in case one of your laces break when traveling. I would recommend this product.

This review is for the Stone and Clark 11 PC Shoe Shine Kit - Premium Shoe Polish Kit for Shoes - Black, Brown & Neutral Shoe Creams with Brushes, Laces, Buffing Cloth, Shoe Horn & More - Travel Essentials Shoe Care Kit.So anyone who has read some of my other reviews may know how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE genuine leather items and I have life long experience using/handling a wide variety of genuine leather items. Genuine leather items get better and better with age & proper care, and in my opinion there are very few instances where fake/manmade material items can measure up to it.If you have high quality genuine leather items, they need you to show them some TLC now and then to keep them looking/feeling/performing at their best. They will reward you in return with a very long service life and looking their very best. The good news is it's really very easy, and this kit contains all the basics you'll need to get started! So nothing to worry about! Just follow the directions and you will be an old hand at this in no time at all!To get started this kit contains brown/black/clear polishes, applicator and buffing brushes, a short shoehorn, shoe laces and a towel and a soft side case to keep it all in... Personally I would prefer a small sponge for each color to apply the cream polish as well as a small separate brush for each color to work the polish around and into the leather. I can add these myself, also a small ziplock bag for each. I also have some items I need grey, blue, red... polishes for and for sure do not want them mixing with the black/brown.Most people just need a damp cloth to spot clean their leather items prior to conditioning/polishing. I however am used to using a good proper leather cleaner/saddle soap before conditioning/polishing... When you start out with this, just use a very very small amount as this is a cream and a little goes a long way. You can always add a bit more if needed. If you try to just glob a large amount on then you'll just have a mess to deal with and be frustrated.....If you're still not sure about using this kit, pick up an old leather item a a garage sale or 2nd hand thrift shop and practice on it. This will allow you to get familiar with the items in this kit and how they perform. Remember if you get a different type/brand of polish in the future, it may perform differently...so practice again before using it on your expensive leather items. But go to it and have fun!For the regular price $54.99 per the listing I must say I feel is a bit high for this kit. But once you have the brushes they last like forever.As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend our $.

This set comes with: A travel / storage case, shoe horn, shoe lace replacements, soft cloth, large brush, small brush (2x), polishes (white, brown, black). The items are of good quality. The polishes are a little runny vs traditional “paste” but seem to work. The set has most of the stuff needed for basic shoe shining. It does not include leather moisturizer / cleaner, or sole “black”/ cleaners.

My wife got this set as gift and I couldn't be happier, especially with my workplace undergoing a renovation, my shoes have been dustier lately, but this kit is helping to keep my shoes clean and shiny every day.

This is such a neat kit in a nice carrying case.It comes with multiple brushes and three tiny tubs of cream for leveling out one's shoes. I love the idea, even though it is my husband who uses these kits more than I do, but all three creams of brown, gray, and black arrived all busted and leaking purfrously. There was goopy cream everywhere and it didn't appear to happen during shipping, it seemed that the cases were made faulty. My husband and I had to clean up a mess when it arrived, which was a bummer. I will say that even though the cases were leaking, there was no terrible and odorour smell coming from the jars, and the size of the kit is nice and appreciated, though I would be happier with my order if the kit wasn't so messy and basically unusable. Yuck!

There are so few people who even purchase true leather shoes these days. A good pair of leather shoes can be costly, so it is important to keep them cleaned and polished to really get the value paid for them. This kit has three cream polishes that are very easy to use. I think I will get the best and most use of the black and brown colors. I am not so sur the light cream will actually cover and buff out on light color shoes. They are more convenient than using the hard waxy polishes. The three brushes are all made of horsehair and are of pretty good quality. They are soft enough to get the polish into all the crevices and around any intricate shoe details. I have only used the black color so far. The large buffing brush does a really nice job at putting a protective finish and a nice buff on the shoe. There are a few bonus items included in the kit. The shoehorn is probably the most useful item since the shoelaces must be a particular length to be of good use. I do like the bag that is included since it is so much more convenient than the old-style wooden box with the heel rest that doubled as the carry handle. I would never think of traveling with that one. I don't have many pair of all leather shoes, but the ones I do have, I do try to keep them looking good. I no longer am employed, so I just keep the shoes looking good for myself and still enjoy the occasional wearing. I am happy I decided to order this kit, but I don't really think many people will even know what it is for and how to use it unless they grew up using one.

Used this to clean and polish my every day leather shoes I wear from work (from ECCO). They were looking pretty dusty and faded. I hopefully used everything in the right order, but the end result was pretty good. They were revitalized and shiny. I am not a shoe shine expert so I dont know where the components of this pack stack up but as a layman I was impressed. I like that everything fits in the small bag so its easy to store. 2 thumbs up!
