Brilliant pool but it will cost you much more than the price tag
The pool itself is amazing, it’s a great size, very sturdy and fairly easy to put up, it is so much fun for the kids on the few days this year when it hasn’t rained. I would however say it is a big commitment to have one of these both in terms of cost and time, if you are going to get one, invest in a complete start up chemical pack as you will need all the chemicals you can possibly imagine at one point or another. You will also need a skimmer, pool vacuum, test strips or a testing device, sump pump + flat hose and jubilee clips, a pool sponge, pool cover, a constant and very expensive supply of chlorine (stick to the tablets in a floater, I changed to granules to try and save a few pounds and have spent an entire day emptying and cleaning the pool between rain showers thanks to that costly mistake) Even if you think you can manage without all the extra stuff, you really do need it. You will also spend hours on various pool advice websites and a lot of time cleaning it or balancing it in one way or another. Having cleaned the pool thoroughly and with lots more unsettled weather forecast for the next few weeks I’m putting the pool away and reseeding the grass for this year, it is only 1st August but hopefully we will have a more normal summer next year and with the stock of chemicals, kit and knowledge I have gained from this first year it should be much easier. This pool is a brilliant thing to have for those really hot, sunny days but it’s really worth considering the amount of work and cost involved before you buy.

Great value for money
We’ve had our pool up a week with the weather being so sunny and have been really happy with it so far. We want it to last a couple of years ideally so have spent the money setting it up properly. In addition to the pool you’ll need: - interlocking foam mats to go underneath the pool to provide a cushioned surface and stop any stones etc from puncturing the lining. We found these to be quite pricey from Amazon but Halfords had some on offer that are a good thickness. We paid about £36 for the square meterage we needed. - a pool cover - we just got an Intex one from Amazon that was about £10. This has been really helpful in heating the pool up and keeping the bugs out. - a chemical starter set. Again from Amazon this was about £22 and came with a chlorine tablet floater which we keep in when the pool isn’t in use. - a net. We just got a cheap one from the works for £2 which extends to reach the bottom of the pool but might upgrade this in future. - a step if you have small children. The pool is deceptively deep and my 5 year old struggled to climb in. We had a step stool from ikea that we’ve moved outside for the summer but a proper pool ladder isn’t a bad idea. We haven’t used the pool every day but try to run the filter for an hour or so just to keep the water moving and stop algae from forming. There’s some algaecide in our chemical pack if we ever find this does start to grow. Assembly was relatively easy. I’m 8 months pregnant and managed it on my own in about an hour. The hardest part was the final join as the instructions suggested but after some wiggling and some talcum powder I got it in. Filling the pool took 4-5 hours using the hose connector. Overall very satisfied, just be warned that when you buy it there’s some additional things you’ll need if you want it to look after it properly.

Great pool!
Really happy with this pool. I put it together myself and the instructions were good. I had no problem putting in the last piece of the frame. I found quite a few YouTube tutorials which helped me with the pump though it's easy when you know how. It looks much more expensive than it is and I've had lots of positive comments.

4 holes to patch within 20 minutes of taking it out of the box...
The fabric is very thin, I laid it out (carefully) on the block paved patio which isn't covered in glass or sharp stones... as soon as I started filing this pool up, we spotted the first leak near the seam on the edge. then 3 more around the edge on the bottom and finally when it started to fill up, one on the side wall. I can't believe for a second these splits were caused by me. Very inferior product which likely split during packing or manufacturing. There are multiple patches supplied, some adhesive patches for emergency patching? (obviously a response to the thing being broken on delivery) and some material the same as the pool bottom and sides which requires glue (not included). The emergency self adhesive patches for the most part do the job, but patching this thing when it's full... on the inside or outside? instructions are unclear and frankly not worth the hassle. Better off buying from a shop you can just take it back to instead of arsing around with delivery and returns... it's not exactly a small and light box! Once it's up and patched and filled, it's probably ok but very thin flimsy material so I doubt it'll last long!
