Made 795 pancakes in 4 hours for a church charity event. Cooking 14 pancakes as a time this dispenser kept up with the demand. Some batter was thick and it came out slower. Once the batter consistency was corrected this device worked flawlessly. It cleaned up by hand washing very easily. I don't know what others experienced, but this worked better than expected. This is a keeper.

This is actually a game changer for cooking and baking. Not just for pancakes, but I'm imagining all the holes in cupcake pans etc. You control the amount of batter that comes out, and it's less of a mess. Worked great for my pancakes.It comes with a base and the handle that you have to slide on. Everything is metal or steel so durable. Before putting batter and spilling all over my counter, I tested with water first and no leaks whatsoever. I felt comfortable putting the batter in after.The flow speed will depend on how thin or thick your batter is. Also how hard you press the lever. You can make the same size pancakes for every one, or get creative.After making the pancakes I ran water in it to see how long I would have to let this soak before washing. The batter started running out right away. The only parts that didn't were some that dried and what I spilled on the top of the lever mechanism while pouring the batter in.

It is pretty useless unless the batter is very thin. It will not work for normal pancake batter
