Medoca 12PCS Hair Clips for Styling Sectioning,4.3 Inch

Every once in a while I purchase some small, unexciting utilitarian item with barely a thought, just because I need it, and it unexpectedly makes me take notice, reminding me that even the most plebian object can make me sit up and take notice simply because it does its job so amazingly well. These hair clips are just such items. I have hair so fine it's practically invisible, and as I've aged, it's gotten not only finer and finer, but thinner and thinner-- i.e., there's a whole lot less of it. Added to the insult of how difficult it is to create the illusion of luxuriant locks, it's become almost impossible to keep clipped, rolled onto a roller or otherwise held in place...until these clips arrived on my doorstep. I used them to clip my roots up in a vertical position for added volume, and they have and stayed in position with both wet and dry hair, as well as staying in place overnight under a silk hair bonnet (I think I even slept on them sans bonnet, but I can't remember for sure). They don't hurt my scalp or pull at my hair or cause the hair to break or fall out...they just stay put and do what I want them to do. I haven't them with rollers, but I did just try it to see if the clips would hold, and if them might work even though they are curved, in case anyone reading this needed them for setting their hair on rollers, and at least on the velcro roller that was all I had on hand, it seemed like they worked just fine, despite the curve. These are just some tenacious little buggers, and I'm so floored by their usefulness I'm about to buy some more, just in case I ever need them, because it seems whenever I find an exceptional product, it vanishes by the time I have need of more. These clips are so affordable ( in general, and even more when at their lowest price) I'm not taking the risk!

Colors are fun. Way better quality than I was expecting! Very sturdy! Great for my daughter’s thick, curly hair while I style!

The colors are vibrant and the clips are surprisingly strong and have a good grip because of a non slip grip rubbet band on the inside of the clips. I will definitely be buying these again in the future.

These are great. Super helpful while curling my hair to separate pieces and let the curls set. The hold well and the price point was great for the amount in the pack!

Love the colors and they hold my hair, but they do rip my hair when I take them out. I have fine hair so it doesnt weigh a lot. I imagine it may be a struggle for them to hold thicker hair.

Great product. I have soft hair, and the tension on these babies holds without slipping! The colors are fantastic, too.

If you have fine or thin hair, these are far too heavy at least for me they were they didn’t stay in my hair well
