DURVET 2253432 Permethrin - EC 10 Percent - Concentrate - 32 Ounces

This stuff is great, I spray it on my pant legs and it keeps mosquitos and ticks away. Might not be the healthiest thing to do... but you don't want those ticks to give you Lyme disease! Also works on the weird black mold that fruit trees get.

Works well. Use this as one of my 3 chemical rotations for handling pest control around my house. Does has a semi strong odor depending on application but that clears up after a day. Haven't seen any bugs in the house so I'd have to assume it works as desired. I recommend rotational spraying so insects dont become immune. Make sure you pair it with a good quality IGR

Tick tubes are a great way to neutralize the tick population in your backyard. No reason to pay for the ready to go tubes, just build them yourself with 1/2 a paper towel tube and cotton balls dipped in Permethrin.

This stuff is awesome, as a bug repellent. Mix this in a spray bottle in a concentration of 1oz of product per 10oz of water. Spray it on the OUTSIDE of your clothing. It is *AMAZING* for preventing ticks getting under your clothes and latching on to you. I think it works on mosquitoes too. My yard has a lot of ticks -- especially in the areas with trees. Without this stuff, I get one tick on my skin for every one hour I'm outside. With this stuff on my clothing, after being outside in the tick infested area for six hours, I have zero ticks. It works by instantly paralyzing the ticks as soon as they touch it, so they cannot get under your clothes. It will last multiple days, or until you wash your clothes. Do wash those clothes separately from your underwear, just in case your washing machine does not completely wash it out. Staining -- I have no idea. All my clothes are blue jeans and non-white shirts. Do not apply to bare skin. It won't poison you, but it can cause a MILD rash on bare skin. Pet safe -- I doubt it.

Easy to mix as a spray for ticks. Helped me get it under control much cheaper than all the yard and dog and house sprays I was buying. I started finding dead ticks everywhere! Uck!
