Easy to use in my l. reutieri yogurt.

Bought this to make Dr Davis super gut yogurt. This one is a bad batch. The probiotic is most likely dead. The previous purchase of the exact same product I purchased worked fine. I verified proper temperature with more than one thermometer and made another batch with no prebiotic to rule contaminated prebiotic as the cause of separation and spoiled curds and whey results. This was a waste of $29.00

Great quality

It is difficult to rate supplements, but here I go. I was attracted to this product because of the reported health benefits of L Reuteri including increased bone density (extremely important for women my age), enhancing the absorption of nutrients, lowering cholesterol, and gut regulation. The 200 Billion CFUs (colony forming units) advertised on the label sealed my decision to try this product. The manufacturer does not specify how many CFUs there are per capsule. That would be nice to know. $29.99 seems pricey at first glance, but when you consider the serving size of two capsules, this bottle will last two months. According to the suggested usage, you can do one capsule, which means it will last four months, so the price point is actually reasonable. Also, be aware that these capsules are made with rice flour in case that would be an issue for you. So far, I have had no issues. I am curious about the cholesterol piece, as mine was high my last physical. When I get it checked again, I will update this review regarding any changes. Overall, the product is worth a try.

The CFU's per capsule says right on the bottle. People need to read. 20 billion CFU"S per serving. Look at back of the bottle. How many capsules per serving. um.....2 capsules. So..... that means each capsule has 10 billion CFU's. SMH.

Great daily gut help

I took this for a week and it seemed like there was a positive effect. I reduced the dose/frequency and saw less benefit. Like with most supplements the benefits are hard to gauge and you take them on some faith that you're doing all you can for your health.L. Reuteri is said to be beneficial for men's sexual health but I've yet to see a good medical explanation as to why. It's just associated with improved T production. They might not know why, and that might also mean they don't know in which people it will show benefit.I did try one other product from Florida Herbal Pharmacy, some SAMe. It was more potent than the previous brand, but not as potent as the one I tried originally.
