Not designed to be sweet. Is similar to sen sen.
Not sweet, similar to old product called sen sen, but sen sen more perfumey.. sen sen $30 plus, so this is a good value, string taste, again not sweet like most licorice. Straw is for size comparison.

A blast from the past.
Saw these and realised they looked just like the "Imps" we used to get in tiny tins as kids. Used to love those, so had to give this product a try. Bigger tin than Imps and although 6grams doesn't sound like much there are lots of "pellets" in the tin. No I haven't counted them, but lots. Taste just as I remember Imps. Have to say they are probably an aquired taste. They are not sweets, you don't scoff them by the handful. Proper liquorice extract based and quite bitter for that, but that's what I love. Pop one on your tongue and just let it dissolve. Wonderful, and I find two or three a day ample. So glad I found these. I will be getting more.

Don't waste your time!
Not at all what I expected and not worth the price! Pics look like tiny smooth pellets. These seem like little dull looking tiny "bits". Not a pleasant taste and I love black licorice. Extremely disappointed. I'd like to return but probably not worth it, its so small
