Took me a moment to get used to slipping these on with no tongue...but super easy after doing it a few times. Yes, I had to break them in. I also love that lack of threading holding most shoes together that was always the first thing to deteriorate.... these have a solid molded shape that feels like it will last a long time... great tread for hiking. There was a little discomfort on one foot until I broke them in. I just padded around my ankle bone with a piece of sock...now it's perfect with it. Thanks for the great shoes....

Comfortable to wear, true to size, though a little bit too tight on the top which complicates to put on.

Save your money. Avoid this shoe. These are easily the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. A) They are very difficult to put on. The cuff is just too small for my foot to fit into. It's a literal wrestling match just to put them on. B) There is zero padding in the ankle area. There is a strap of hard rubber that rides right on my ankle bone. After just a couple of hours of wearing these shoes at work, I was in so much pain that I was limping. I ended up wearing my rubber boots that I wear for cleanup the rest of the day. My ankle still hurt the next day. I've been wearing Merrell shoes exclusively for nearly 20 years because they are so light, and comfortable, and durable. These Velocity Tactical Moab shoes are not up to par with any Merrell shoes that I've worn in the past.

I love these shoes. I tie them loose then just slip my foot in and out. They’re very sturdy without tying the laces every time. I initially bought these to reduce the weight of my work boots the soles last a long time and the exterior holds up well. This is my second pair of these.

I would give more stars if they weren't a HUGE pain to put on. I even ordered a shoe horn in an attempt to make them easier to put on, and that only made it easier by a few percentage points. The laces themselves make the boots uncomfortable; however, this was rectified with a ~$7 set of elastic laces. Not that it even needs laces, because, at least brand new, they are so tight they don't need them to stay put. Maybe that is why they are so hard to put on. The best way I can describe what it's like trying to put them on is to imagine trying to put on ankle-high water socks. That's all I have to say about them; that is negative. The appearance is great. They look really nice. And work well for a duty shoe. I have not had them long enough to test water resistance or durability yet. I will update if the boot fails to meet my objectively low standard.

I am really satisfied with these shoes. I found the slip resistant to actually work. My foot is pretty slim, so my feet slipped right in, the way some customers felt like the insert was too small. Actually the part in the ankle still leaves a little room too. But the boots are extremely comfortable. I stand the majority of my day, and with boots and some shoes my knees can grow weak and it could be painful sometimes. But wearing these shoes with the sole inserts it came with, they are almost perfect. No fatigue whatsoever. I’ve already spilled some water while mopping directly on them, I haven’t done a full waterproof test, but no water got in. My feet weren’t sweating in them… The boots look great in my opinion too. Really like the style of them. My only complaint if even one is the laces are a little too long when I tie and tighten my boots snug. 5/5 definitely going to buy more pairs of these.

My husband loves these boots. They are super functional, durable and comfortable. They fit him perfect and are nice and warm when it’s cooler.

Me gustó su diseño táctico; cabe señalar que no tienen una lengüeta como tal, tienen un diseño como de calcetín, el cual está recubierto por un material mucho más robusto. Aún tengo conflicto con su precio (más de $2300.00), pero es raro encontrar esta marca con precios menores a $2000.00.

Great cushioning fit and and comfort. Plenty of toe room, and waterproof. Slightly warm shoes, bellows tongue keeps debris out great. No difficulties at all getting my feet in the shoes like some of the other reviewers, and I personally can’t see how putting these shoes on would be a problem unless you suffer from physical or mental disabilities.
