This was a perfect set for what I needed....

Originally, I gave this product a 5-star review.Here is an update, 2 years later. I installed 6 of them. 5 of them stopped working recently. I couldn't figure out the reason my grass was dying in patches. After testing the system,I realized that 5 out of 6 stopped spinning, so they kept watering the same spot.I was pretty confident in this brand, since my entire system is the same brand. No more Rainbird products for me. Wasted $300 back then. They are cheaper now.

My landscaper installed the Rainbird Max last month to replace a defective impact rotor sprinkler ( not Rainbird ) and it has worked flawlessly. Just like another reviewer commented you cannot find these puppies in hardware stores, so I’m glad I could get them from this vendor. I bought the four pack to have backup replacements and the price was reasonable. Thank you IrriFix!

I have been using these impact sprinkler for many years, interchangeable spray tips, repair or replace while leaving the shell in the ground. Good value

I used the Rain Bird 2045A sprinkler heads to replace some of my existing Rain Bird 5000 series. This was done to get better coverage by the capability of the 2045A to breakup or fan the water. They preformed so well I placed an additional order to replace more of the 5000 series heads.

The only effective long term sprinkler solution I’ve found for large areas where water contains a lot of dissolved minerals and fine solids that are erosive to gear driven designs. Readily adjustable for flow rate and area of coverage.

I used the sprinklers for replacements to broken ones.I would prefer to have just the sprinkler part when it is used to replace just the sprinkler mechanism and there’s no need for the outer shell!
