My husband has been wearing Levi's 505 since the 1970's when he was a kid. The fabric has gotten a little thinner over the years, definitely softer (used to take months of washing to get soft), but still the go to standard for jeans.

Bought these to replace a pair I've worn for years. The old jeans faded nicely as you can see. Now to start breaking in the new.The original was made in the Dominican Republic. The new pair in Cambodia. The "V" stitching on the back pockets is deeper on the old pair. The fabric on the new seems slightly thinner. Hope they wear in to be as comfortable as the old pair.
