Weak pump - NO INTEGRATED ONE-WAY CHECK VALVE!
THERE IS NO ONE-WAY VALVE BUILT INTO THIS PUMP!!!!!Don't believe the description of this pump when it says it has a one-way check valve built-in. NO. It does not. I had to pull the pump and insert an external one-way check valve on a nipple above the pump. I just LOVE having to do a difficult job like pulling a well pump twice.Also, the stated GPM for the pump is severely overrated. The previous two pumps that I ran before this one were an 18 GPM Gould and a 22 GPM Red Lion. Both of those pumps discharged a much higher volume than this Schraiber does. Now some of my fruit trees on the end of my irrigation line are barely getting any water. They had plenty with the other pumps.Is is quiet? Yes, for the first few hours. But after it cycles on a few dozen times it is just as noisy as any other pump.For the 1.5 HP of electricity that is uses, this is a very weak pump. Advertising it with an integrated check-valve is false advertising. Be warned, if you are trying to save money you will end up having a weak pump that will need an external check-valve put into your downpipe.

Had to change. It's been going 2weeks and the pump motor is shorting out.
Update...pulled the pump yesterday because the breaker was tripping. 30a220v. Motor gets under a load and trips the breaker! Company nKes you pay for shipping to cover the warranty. Buy local and said yourself a headache!Seemed like a good pump. It's been running for a week and no issues. My water pressure increased so dramatically that I had to install an inline pressure regulator valve to decrease the pressure. I am running a 40/60 pressure switch and the pump was pushing 70psi.

Powerful Pump died after 2 months.
The pump only worked for 2 months till it died... Seller was no help at all and did not honor warranty.. so I could not recommend pump or seller to anyone.

Good pump
I was skeptical about the pump because of the price but called and spoke with them and decided to try it. I have had the pump installed for a week now and it works fine. It puts out the same amount of water as the 1 hp Franklin pump it replaced The well supplies two houses so i hoped for a little more water. The well is 250' deep with water at around 100' and the pump hung at 220'. The well is about 100' from the house with a 40/60psi pressure switch.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING
I am sure that the pump was dropped... As you can see from the picture the wire was almost cut in half. Now I hope that pump still works and for how long. I will give it a 3 stars for now until I am able to test the pump

Not a pump that will run steady for 2-3 weeks
The pump stopped running after 2 1/2 weeks. My previous pump was running in the same well for the last 8 years.

If it has one it it didnt workvery happy with the pump, 46 months of reliable service so far
