If you are looking for high-quality, clean pumpkin seeds (pepitas), this bag from NOW Real Food is an absolute staple. It is incredibly hard to find raw pumpkin seeds that taste this fresh without any added oils, salt, or weird processing, but these hit the mark perfectly. I love that they are completely raw and unsalted, which gives me full control over how I use them. Because they are raw and unsalted, they are also perfect for artisan baking! They hold up beautifully when folded into rustic homemade breads or sprinkled on top of a loaf before baking for a gorgeous, crunchy crust.or even cookies. I made butter cookies out of them and i also made some African stew out of it. You can roast it and eat as snacks as well, i love the versatility. They have a wonderful, naturally nutty crunch. They are fantastic right out of the bag for a quick snack, tossed over a fresh green salad, or mixed into oatmeal. . I also love that it is organic and easy to use. With 11g of protein and 4g of fiber per serving, they are an easy way to add a healthy boost of essential fatty acids and iron to my daily routine. It has no foul odor.
