Light weight,simple and great value.

This is the Land Rover of torches! It looked good and I wanted to like it as outwardly it looks great with a good solid metal body. The price is good but NEITHER of the two torches in the pack worked from the start! This seems to be a sad reflection on many products from this part of the world. They build them cheaply and you can be lucky and get a bargain. However they are equally likely to break suddenly or not work from the start. The quality control during manufacture is not up to standard as this is obviously a simple connection / power button problem. I also had confusing and vague messages from customer services when I contacted them about it. They need to improve manufacturing standards and quality control before I could recommend this. They also need to improve communications / language skills in customer services. Product description was poor and did not make it clear whether you are supposed to get a charger with it. (I am still not clear about this despite contacting them!) In fairness they do supply a battery with the pack which is clearly stated.

Both torches were supplied with batteries that failed to hold a charge for more than a few hours. When freshly charged batteries were installed, both torches only worked for a few minutes before failing. The best results were with good quality replacement batteries, which provided a clear bright light for 10 minutes before the torches became too hot to hold.
