This looks like it would have happened in the assembly of the lens as it is inside the layers of the lens. This makes it useless to use. The lens was replaced and all is good with the new lens. Good after sales service.

Better than the proprietary brand it acts as an alternative to - strong magnets and very thick - just part of the necessary design for this type of lens, regardless of brand. If you're buying this you obviously know which camera it's for so be aware that the gimbal won't lock into position if you switch it off without removing this. Also, if you store this lens in one of the magnetic compartments in the proprietary cover, the camera won't fully fit into the case. It never fell off, it just annoyed me! My scoring system is: 1* = Serious issues with either the product or the customer service 2* = I'm not happy with the overall experience, it could be quality, service or value for money 3* = I got exactly what I was expecting - perfectly acceptable and my starting point for every review (partially as a protest against the view that anything less than 5* is poor - you have to earn the last two!) 4* = The purchase put a grin on my face for one reason or another 5* = I'm telling people about this in glowing terms!

You wouldn't think the osmo needed a wider lens but this is actually brilliant. Works nicly and attaches easily. Ideal even as a static WS on cramped spaces.

In my experience this adapter widened the view only marginally, but DID render all but the centre 50% so blurry as to be unusable: in terms of useful sharp image, it turned my 20mm into about a 50mm only of much lower resolution. Trusting it, it ruined so many of my videos on a rather expensive recent 3 week trip to USA, I am mightily aggravated, inconvenienced, and also extremely disappointed and frustrated at all the wased effort. I'll add screenshots next time I'm on my PC.

The only downside is that when the lens is attached, the Pocket 3 cannot fully fold into its locked position when powered off. The lens is a bit bulky, so you’ll usually need to remove it before turning the camera off or storing it. Overall, a solid accessory if you want a wider view from the Pocket 3, just keep in mind you may need to remove it before powering off the camera.

Compatibile senza alcun problema. Permette il ritorno del gimbal alla posizione di chiusura e si attacca magneticamente nell'alloggiamento predisposto della custodia fornita di default. Amplia un po' l'angolo, utile nelle riprese selfie. Naturalmente curva un po' le linee ai, lati. Contento.
