Love this comforter.
Super comfortable and light and well worth the price. Excellent quality that I didn't think I'd find again. And without the dreaded returns of trying something and it not right. It feels like the same one I bought in 2007 at BB&B on Christmas Day for half off and that was $250. So normally a $500 comforter and as a matter of fact I still have it although the feathers are kind of falling out. I'll probably just need to take it to a seamstress and have her resell a few things but I'm still keeping that as I am going to keep this. Incredible feel and very warm for an L2. The design is great. I haven't washed it yet but on order to fluff it I basically put it in the dryer for an hour on delicates with no heat. It did come sealed in a small box but it was absolutely perfect after an hour on fluff with no heat. I will end up buying another one when I get a king size bed. All I need now is a duvet that feels just like this comforter. There was no scent as some people mentioned. It smelled fresh right out of the box.

I'll never go back to a polyester filled comforter again!
***Only had comforter for a few days, so will update if necessary at a later date.*** Picture 1: comforter inside the duvet cover I ordered at the same time. As you can see, even inside the duvet cover, this comforter is quite fluffy. It has not been washed and dried yet either. The slight new smell disappeared after allowing it to air for a couple of hours, per manufacturers instructions. Picture 2: the satisfaction guarantee and unpacking instructions included in the packaging. This is an amazing comforter! The quality is great, it fluffs up beautifully, it's just the right weight, it's soft right out of the bag, and oh so comfortable. It was package well, inside a vacuum sealed bag and into a breathable fabric bag, and shipped in a solid and sealed Amazon cardboard box. At this point, I'll never go back to a polyester fill comforter again!! Now to address complaints for this comforter. First off, if you're not familiar with, or owned and slept with a down comforter, do some research before selecting one. Doing so will ensure you know the terminology, production, quality standards, myths and gimmicks associated with down comforters, and ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. I suggest Googling a third party review site, such as, supercomfysleep.com and goodhousekeeping.com. Both these sites explain fill-power, construction, and cleaning; while supercomfysleep.com covers myths and a few other misnomers associated with goose down comforters. Now onto specific complaints in the reviews. Noisy: all goose down comforters will have more rustling noise than a poly-filled comforter. My personal experience with comforters in general, is that they create some rustling, period. If you're that sensitive to noise, perhaps you should stick with cotton/polyester blend blankets, and avoid comforters all together... or invest in a good pair of ear plugs. Frankly, I find this complaint a bit overly dramatic and unnecessarily critical. This comforter has average rustling sound equal to a poly-fill, and decreases with both, over time. Not as pictured, particularly the fluff factor: The manufacturer ships this goose down comforter, vaccum packed, which removes all the air from the product and the bag. This has a decompression effect on the down and requires it to be laid out and fluffed (shaken) several times, for a minimum of 2 hours for the fluffiness to return, and over several days it will reach full fluff capacity. These instructions (see included picture 2) are clearly laid out in the paper insert included with the comforter. If you have zero experience with vacuum sealing/packaging, then you won't understand this, and incorrectly assume you've been ripped off. You haven't, you're just not following instructions. False advertisement (claiming not filled with actual goose down): First off, yes it is. Second, down and feathers are two very different things. Down does not have stiff and thick quills like feathers, nor does it have the same structure and consistency of a feather. Down is very fine, fluffy and fuzzy in consistency, as it is the insulating layer underneath the outer feathers of a goose, and it's quill/spine is very thin and small compared to a feather. If an animal; such as a dog, masticates (chews) on down it will NOT look like down anymore. Rather, it will be shredded and separated from it's fine quill spine, making it appear to be bits of opaque plastic and pieces of mushy material. And frankly using a picture of this exact situation (reviewer pictured masticated down her dog had chewed on after chewing a hole in this purchased comforter) as proof it's not filled with goose down is either very naive/ignorant, or worse, disingenuous and blatant misrepresentation. I have no doubt that this comforter is filled with quality goose down, as it's reviews and ratings speak of its quality, and the manufacturer. Not to mention the guarantee the manufacturer offers with this product. Moreover, this manufacturer and comforter is listed by supercomfysleep.com as the number one pick, in their reviews. Therefore, I'm a completely satisfied customer and highly recommend this goose down comforter and manufacturer. It is a quality comforter for the price, with exceptional fill-power, and manufacturing. But, as I stated in the beginning of this review, be a wise consumer and educate yourself before purchasing. As this will ensure you are satisfied with your purchase, and will have reasonable expectations of the product's quality and construction. And hopefully, you'll come to feel like I do about this comforter: I'll never go back to a polyester filled comforter again!

Update: replacement comforter is much betterโฆ really impressed with this small business
Update: The comforter on my bed is now everything I hoped for: fluffy, warm, and wonderfully cozy. Getting here was a two-part story, and itโs the happy ending and the fantastic service that created it that I really want to share. Iโll be honest, my first comforter was a letdown. It arrived flat and thin and just never reallyโฆ fluffed into the cozy cloud I was hoping for. I was pretty frustrated, which is why I left my original review. But then, something really nice happened. The company actually reached out to me directly. They were so kind, listened without getting defensive, and genuinely wanted to make it right. They sent a replacement, no questions asked, and the difference has been night and day. This new one is exactly what Iโd imagined. It has a real, fluffy loft, itโs softer, and after letting it settle, itโs become the full, warm, and comfortable comforter I wanted from the start. My quick takeaways: ยท A small business that stands behind their work. This meant a lot. ยท Customer service was top-notch kind, FAST, and professional. ยท The replacement is clearly better quality: fuller, softer, and warmer. ยท Itโs a completely different (and better) experience than the first. I really value when a company just focuses on fixing things. The way they handled this completely changed my perspective. While the first one missed the mark, their response and the quality of the replacement have made me a happy customer. Iโm glad I gave them the chance to make it right, and Iโm finally cozy under the comforter I was hoping for.

MASSIVE SIZE
I cannot tell you how soft this is but it's like a cloud made of cotton candy! It's so soft and fluffy! In arizona its too hot for a blanket like this most of the time but this is also really cooling. Its been great, I dont have a big washing machine so i take it to the laundromat and its still in really good shape. Its clean and looks so soft and beautiful

Good Value Oversized King Duvet
These King Goose Down duvets have been my "go to" for Matouk bedding used in my hotel for years now. The oversized King is perfect size for the Matouk 108x96" covers, filling them out completely for a signature lofty look. I wish the queens were a bit longer to fit the Matouk 90x96" covers. I Don't know how many I have ordered, the price is so affordable for replacement of damages done. Quality is very good although I am concerned about the use of goose down "fiber" rather than feathers. They tend to clump more in the baffles and create bumps and points on the otherwise smooth bed covers. This is after initially fluffing in a dryer and much pouffing with the remaking of beds and multiple changes of covers on a daily basis. I am wondering if there is polyester fiberfill mixed with the feather fiber to make it clump? Sadly, with my most recent order I found that I was shorted in width of the Oversized King duvet. Instead of being 108" wide, it measured 105" with cover stretched to its max width. The length was actually longer at 99". The shorter width is a problem because it is 3 inches less than the Matouk cover. I hope EB can correct this problem and make the Oversized Kings to the advertised dimensions in the future, as I would like to continue ordering them. But if this happens again, I will seek another supplier.

Lovely to and super warm but ordered too large
A beautifully made, lovely, hugely fluffy, super warm feather quilt...that was unfortunately ordered as wayyy too oversized and too warm a down weight for our high but standard profile king bed. You'll literally get lost in the thing, so floooofy. I plan on ordering a smaller and lighter version from the same company. Be aware that repackaging this requires a vacuum bag, and we were charged a significant amount for the return as it had been opened, so order carefully.

Wonderful Comforter!
I've typically bought cheaper comforters on Amazon but decided to give this a try based on the good reviews. We wanted something a bit fluffier than we've had. This comforter is exactly that! It is very comfortable, puffy and well made. It's a bit warmer than I'm used to, so it may be relegated to cold-weather duty but overall, very satisfied. The customer service from this seller is top notch. The first comforter I received was defective and had a poor odor but the seller reached out and sent a replacement without asking for the original comforter back. I could tell the attentiveness this business provides to it's products and customers. Overall, great comforter and even better company and customer service!

Extremely Misleading Description โ Not Worth the price.
I purchased this duvet insert back in November for $169 and gave it several months before writing this review to be fairโbut I am extremely disappointed. First, the product description claims this has a 100% Egyptian cotton cover with goose down filling. Based on my experience, that is simply not accurate. The material does not feel like cotton at allโboth in texture and overall quality. I even had it professionally cleaned, and that did not improve the feel or confirm the claim. As for the filling, it does not appear to be genuine goose down. When you hold the duvet insert up to the light, you can clearly see uneven clumps of feathers with large empty sections in between. It looks patchy and poorly constructed, not evenly distributed like a quality down insert should be. I followed the care instructions and used an air fluff cycle after receiving it, but it never reached the fullness or plush appearance shown in the photos. It looks underfilled and flat in comparison. Another major issue is feather leakageโfeathers constantly poke through and come out, which is frustrating, especially considering I have not machine-washed it improperly. Overall, this duvet insert feels low quality, underfilled, and nothing like what was advertised. I truly tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but it does not perform or look the way it should for the price. I rely heavily on reviews when making purchases, so I want to be honest: this is not a luxurious duvet insert, and the description is misleading. I would not recommend it if youโre looking for something full, soft, and high-quality.

75% goose down duvet which does not fluff up
I received this "100% Siberian goose down luxurious king duvet" on 29 Jan 2021 but held off reviewing it until 24 Feb 2021 as I wanted to give it a fair trial. Sadly, it'd seem that quite a number of the reported flaws are correct. 1. It was super flat upon opening the vacuum pack. After laying it out to air for more than 3 weeks, plus throwing it in my tumbler dryer twice, the loft is still not there! 2. My tag also states "minimum 75% down" and not the 100% as advertised (see picture). It was also printed "made in China" but that is not an issue with me as most things are nowadays. Peculiarly, the tag omits the country of origin of the goose down 3. When I held the duvet up to the light, it is readily apparent that the down filling is unevenly distributed with some square boxes allowing quite a bit of light through. This was reported in another user's review 4. I don't quite understand what a baffle box stitch is. The stitching on my Duvet seemed rather ordinary 5. There are no cleaning or care instructions on the included tags Now for the good points 1. The duvet is Responsible Down Standard certified 2. The duvet has passed the OEKO-TEX standard 100 for harmful substances 3. The duvet does rustle but this is not louder than my previous synthetic fill duvet. Neither does it affect my sleep 4. There is no discernible smell 5. The outer 100% cotton covering (advertised as 1200 thread count Egyptian cotton) is smooth to the touch. But I still use a duvet cover to protect it. If you are looking for a 100% goose down with the country of origin for the down clearly stated, this duvet may not be for you. I am also disappointed that my duvet failed to fluff up after prolonged use.
